Not really, just the same old same old.
Said he was happy being an assistant but glad he is getting an opportunity. Focused on Kemba, Hendo, MKG and Biz saying he watched tapes from games at the start of the season, middle of the season and end of the season and that it was obvious with the way they played they really care because they were playing as hard as they were at the start, middle and end of the season. Spoke about their potential and how those 4 haven't even started to scratch the surface.
He is spending his time getting to know the players and putting his staff together.
Said that being around high quality players like Kobe and Nash taught him a lot.
Said that Michael is heavily invested and determined to build a winner.
Said the biggest difference so far from being an assistant Vs a head coach is the amount of media he has to do now.
The rest was Rome trying to poke him to say something bad about Howard and the Lakers and all sorts of crap which Coach Cliff Clavin did a great job of defusing, not answering and handling himself with class.
He also mentioned being very interested in Mason Plumlee with the 4th overall pick and that he would be in on Monday for a workout.
I made that last part up. Just wanted to freak people out.
