And how does that work out for teams in the past? If Bledsoe is gonna be good enough for us to try to get him, we'll end up overpaying him greatly or won't be able to get him at all. You'll be surprised how much teams will overpay to keep their assets.
The Clippers aren't in any position cap wise to have the luxury of paying Bledsoe. The new CBA crushes teams that go over the luxury tax. I don't see any way that they pay their backup PG good starters money.
Ryan Anderson was a RFA for us. Look what we got in return. If we wait on Bledsoe, we wouldn't give up nearly as much as AA, AN and a 1st. lol.
And what make you think Clips won't send him off to another team? As soon as CP3 ink an extension, Bledsoe is gone. Even if dumbly keep him knowing that they can't match him, another question would be why would Bledsoe want to sign with us out of 29 other teams?
As for Ryno, he was never considered all star material. He's a soft 4 that gets shut down regularly in the playoffs. Not saying Bledsoe is a better at this moment, but if he turns out to be what people think he is, then we won't be able to get him next season.
AA and Nicholson are not that valuable. I said it before that I don't like trading the first rounder, but if it's protected and we build the team right, then that will be a late first rounder anyway. I don't like it, but I don't think it's that much to give up.
