Who can provide a nice little writeup of Shengalia?

I think he can shoot 3s. Or it may be that other guy whatshisface...

FYI HUMP or Bass or whomever with a late '15 isnt getting us crap. I dont know....maybethe starting lineup of Bradley, Lee, Green, Sully, and Melo get us in the Wiggins sweepstakes....Doc should have freakin run if this was Dannys plan.

I'm super excited at the prospects of having two first round picks in each of 2014, 2015, 2016 AND 2018.

This doesn't include the value that were likely to get for rondo and green.

If by a miracle the celtics can get wiggins or Parker, That's a ton of picks to surround him with a young, athletic and hopefully productive roster for the next 15 years. I know those are all big ifs and buts but I am ecstatic at that prospect than what I was looking at a week ago.

You guys need to realize we're building for the future, this is a GREAT move for the C's. And don't think this will be the last move Danny makes.

Not into hoping for miracles. Clear some cap room and stay flexible. Way too many picks that will be in the 20s.

When is the last time this large of a trade was done in the same division?

you cant go 2 seasons in a row without a first rounder. regardless of whose first rounder it is.

Wait, AT LEAST one of these will have to be unprotected, right? Just based on league rules, they can't push the picks any further out than that.

The future? We need a time machine some of those picks are so far out.

Why is 2018 more important than 2015?

All the years are valuable, actually, for business purposes, the immediate takes precedence.

You have a vision, but you always mind the present.

They need a 2-3 year plan, not a 6 year plan. Goodness. Fans love picks.

My opinion of the deal hinges on the protection on the picks. No to little protectionis a great deal for us, high protection is still a decent deal because we're trying to not suck during the rebuild and Hump and Wallace aren't terrible players. Plus a big expiring is needed in any blockbuster trade.

id assume they would ALL be unprotected.

King wants to get this done. his job relies on the next few years and he has never valued future picks. id be pretty suprised if any were protected

Nothing wrong with picks in the 20's.

Rajon Rondo
Kendrick Perkins
Tony Allen
Delonte West
Jared Sullinger
Glen Davis
Leon Powe

All guys that were drafted by Danny either in the 20's or as 2nd rounders.

Sure you have the JaJuan Johnson's and the Fab Melo's but Danny has a pretty good track record when it comes to late 1st rounders.

42 MILLION
42 MILLION
42 MILLION

THIS IS NOT WORTH 3 LATE ROUND PICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVEN IF WE HIT ON THESE PICKS ITS NOT WORTH IT.

That's what I mean.

Buyout Pierce of $5 million and KG has $20 mil left.

Assuming KG plays 2 years, that's 25 million right there. We are spending upwards of $45 million on these deals.

If KG plays his ENTIRE CONTRACT, we are paying like $6-7 million per pick. Ridiculous

Thank you. 6-7 for a lATE ROUND pick...and well likely suck and picking near the top of the second....WHY WHY WHY do this? Do the posters on this board actualy go to the games? Who the F is going take their kid and pay $70 a seat to watch this crap team next year?
