Because he's (Karasev) good. Really good. There are actually some scouts who felt that in time, he'd be the best 3 out of this draft. He's definitely got his love from some prospects.

They've got to do something with either him or Evan Turner IMO. That's a horrible shooting back court.

It is weird to see the team with Turner draft MCW. The team with Lillard drafted McCollum. For while it looked like Noel and Anthony Davis would be teammates. Boston has Sullinger, yet they drafted Olynyk.

Straange stuff is going on.

He's not the 3rd pick in the draft. He's also played for much higher quality teams than Porter has.

Whatever, I'm a diehard Wiz fan, so I hope I'm wrong on Otto.

I highly doubt Lokomotiv, Zalgiris, and Novgorod are better than Syracuse, Indiana, Kentucky and Louisville.

Sorry, I ain't buyin that one.

What about this deal:

Wiz trade Ariza+Ves+38 for Hawes+Evan Turner?

Whether the 38th pick ultimately turns out to be a keeper or out of the league in a year, I really want us to pick someone on our list(s) just so I can look at our selections with pride.

I'm glad Bennett went first. Now I will never have to think about what might have been with him. No regrets. I liked Porter for us and he really was our guy. But I would have always felt some disappointment if Bennett ended up being an AS and Porter didn't.

Yeah, the player MCW most resembles is probably Turner. Philly's perimeter shooting... not good.

Are we sure whether Phiily gets the pick or is giving the pick in the Noel/Jrue trade?

We need a few teams to make reach picks, so that someone good slides to 38.

...and we need to keep the pick and not use it on a draft and stash player.

God, our FO is incompetent. They'd rather play utter trash like Vesely than admit they made bad picks.

My god, is the Wiz roster so deep that they won't even let rookies compete for jobs? If their reserves are so good, why do they use injuries as an excuse?

Nice pick by the Nets. Plumlee is good value there.

This team has NO FRONTCOURT depth in terms of big men. They don't have a backup PG and need a combo guard. DO they think Singleton & Vesely are NBA players? They are morons.
