In surprise move, Wizards sign FA Andray Blatche.

Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfield announced this morning that the team had made the surprising decision to sign Forward Andray Blatche. Blatche returns for a second stint with the team. "The Nets are one of our traditional rivals," Grunfield commented, "and by undercutting them with this move we not only take away one of their roster bargains but acquire a player who has proven he can perform at a high level and who costs us nothing."

"Andray is a talented young veteran," Grunfield went on to say, "and he is looking forward to playing with Antawn Jamison again and to working with our newly hired shooting coach Gilbert Arenas."
