Jimmy is the deal-killer... I wouldn't do it with him.
Reason why you can't spend too much on LA: once Noah goes, you need to find a center, and you need to essentially dump Boozer, which are 2 costly moves. You can play LA/Booze but that'd be a very **** defensive frontline. Guys like Splitter are making $9M per year, Jordan and McGee are making bit more, Hibbert and Marc are basically making the max... that is a costly position. We wouldn't have Lebron and Wade to pull the small ball theatrics off. So you hunt for a center, but what are your remaining trade assets? Chicago's late 1sts? Deng's expiring? Teague? You can trade for a Gortat, but no doubt the center position becomes a problem.
Plus, the incoming Mirotic isn't a C; he's a PF. You have to at some point dump or amnesty Boozer, and you're losing a flawed but productive starter for nothing but cap relief.
Basically, how do you get LA with some combo of Boozer, Taj, Deng and the shoddy 1st picks we have? Answer is you don't.

I mean, I'd consider Booze/Taj/Jimmy/Char.1st for Aldridge/Matthews/Freeland... helps us win now... but we have an excellent but expensive starting 5 with a very crappy bench.
Rose Kirk Teague
Matthews Dunleavy
Deng Snell
Aldridge Thomas Freeland
Noah Nazr
With Miami being a powerhouse in its prime, do you really go all in for it now? Jimmy/Char.1st/Taj/cap-space look better come 2014.
