That isn't the only alternative. He can simply post images of himself not wearing Bulls gear. He's clearly not ruled us out, as no team seems to be showing interest in him. That's apparent by the lack of media reports, and by the several disappointed updates he's posted. As each day passes by, we're becoming his likely destination. There is only one significant guard-domino left to fall, and that's Jennings.

I think Nate is probably "holding out" for the 20% raise, and/or simply putting pressure on the Bulls to simply NOT sign another, less guard while he waits for a possible better offer out there.

I think he wants to return, but is just doing what's best for him in waiting for a possible extra million or two somewhere, but wants the Bulls to look bad if they stop waiting for him and sign a lesser guard which would end his option to come back to the Bulls.

I mean, imagine if we got sick of waiting for a commitment from Nate and signed some scrub, while he's posting these Bulls picks and hanging with out players and stuff, and then he ends up taking a minimum deal from someone anyways. The Bulls FO would look really bad. He's playing this perfectly, and frankly, so are the Bulls. I think.

I agree with this to a certain extent. I definitely feel D. Rose can make everyone in the Chi forget about lil Nate.

The problem with that is, I DON'T WANT TO FORGET! I would be so much happier with BOTH!

Make it happen Bulls... What ever happened to "give the people what they want" ?

I don't get why Thibs hates him so much. I understand he's hard to control, but his energy is unlike anybody else in the league. We need that off our bench. Also I don't want Teague to ever play another minute.

Especially considering Thibs is offensively challaneged. We don't need more defense, we need more offense.

I have no trust in Teague, and I don't think he has any confidence. He can't shoot AT ALL. I don't think he will develop a better shot by next season, judging by he didn't his first year either. I like when he drives in rather than shooting, but he doesn't try to much. Would you rather have Nate or Teague play? I rather have Nate play. Nate can at least spark an offense which we clearly lack when DRose isn't in the game.

EDIT: I understand what ur saying btw, I just don't believe Teague will be that much better next year, in the future who knows. But for next yr I rather have Nate.

That's why we have Rose, Hinrich, Teague already! How many defensive stoppers do you need at 1 position?

And the fact that you won't find anyone in the NBA who plays D harder the Nate does, so it's not like there's a lack of effort on that end (just ask Lebron).

Thibs wants a guard who can run the offense. Heroics can win you a game but they can't win you a series.

I love Nate and wouldn't mind having him back, but this year's second unit should have enough shooting to not need to rely on the PG creating everything.

Also it doesn't matter whether Nate tries on D or not, he's just not good at it. Kyle also tried his best on D when he was with us but he was terrible (for other reasons than Nate). You don't get points for trying in professional sports.

Honestly, I think Stein might be talking out of his ass. Thibs is the reason Nate was on team last year, not Gar or Pax. Thibs was the one who decided to play Nate instead of giving Teague entitlement minutes.
