I would say attitude mostly. Jennings comes off as a very selfish me first person. It's one thing to suck but it's an entirely different situation when you suck and then act like you are the second coming of Allen Iverson.

Can't argue with the logic

He's better at not being Jennings for one..

Brandon Knight is literally a poor man's Brandon Jennings.

Yeah he is better at being not Brandon Jennings, but not better at basketball

I wouldn't go that far. Jennings has had 4 full seasons to be the starting point guard of this team and hasn't done anything outside of one 55 point game. Knight hasn't had the opportunity to start as much and they are still figuring out if he is better suited at the SG or PG position. I'm not that high on Knight but I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Absolutely nothing, but he's an asset on a cheap contract.

Brandon Knight is pretty bad, only reason I'd want him is for the tanking potential

What do you guys think about Reggie Jackson? Think it would be difficult to acquire him via trade?

Depends. They have no incentive to move him and we don't have assets around the same level they'd be interested in. Anyone who wants him is going to have to overpay.

He will be this season's Bledsoe most likely.

I like him but so does OKC, what would we have outside of 1st rounders that they would want?

Ersan for Perkins/Jackson?

don't like Perkins though

I honestly don't see why though. Oklahoma is going for a championship. Surely anyone one of Ersan, Udoh, Future 1st or even a Jennings could help?

Ersan is too good and makes too much money. Maybe they'd consider it if we take back Perkins, but doing that is dubious and still not even.

Udoh + future 1st gets it done but I don't like us dealing future 1sts in situations like this and who knows if Reggie Jackson is even good. This would be way too speculative of a trade to start giving away 1sts.

I doubt they want Jennings, and it'd have to be a sign and trade so Jennings would need to agree to take less to go there or agree to go there on the QO and who knows if thats even feasible.

It would benefit Milwaukee, too, because they would have a highly motivated point guard, presumably eager to address some of the significant flaws in his game. Like his shot selection. Like his shaky work facilitating teammates. Like his poor percentages finishing at the rim. And like his deteriorating defensive play.

Eh what a stupid thing to write.

So Jennings wasn't motivated at all last season ?

I Jennings could not be a whiny bitch and put the team first I'd be happy with him at point for 4/40. Just need someone through to him. This coaching staff might be able to.
Bucks fan since day one. Go Bucks!

Why on Earth would we give him $10M per year when he has no leverage to get that? Is some other team giving him an offer sheet for that amount? If not, why are we?

Get ready for a 5-year deal with Jennings in the next few days.

Now that Woefel has chimed in i fully expect the worst possible contract Brandon can sign in the next couple days. As Captain Erv said, 5 year deal....maybe no trade clause to every team. Mandatory rule everyone has to shrug their shoulders whenever they miss a shot....
