Can we re-sign him as a FA? If we could and could get him at 1-1.5 I would be down.

I'd sign him for anything less than 3.5. If it comes down to the DeJuan Blairs, Dorrell Weights, and Jason Maxiells of the league, I'd rather just take my chances on a 1 or 2 year deal for Mully.

Hopefully this bum stays away.

One of the most frustrating basketball players I've ever seen

has the physical abilities to be a top 10 center in the NBA.... he has size and athleticism you dream of as a scout...... but he prefers to play like a 7 foot SG

he needs a coach that will ride and push his ass to get the most out of him and not put up with his tendencies of trying to play on the perimeter

you could almost apply all of that to Diaw as well. Boris will go down as the most frustrating player to me.

I've read a few teams are looking for stretch 4's as they are a necessity now.
I think he will sign on somewhere on the cheap. He is worth a shot for cheap money

This just continues a run of excellence from Cho.

Hopefully gone forever.

If mem gets a wing with part of our mle should Mullins be looked at?

Zbo/Davis/Mullins
Gasol/koufus/Mullins

And you haven't even been following him throughout his whole career, I've been doing it since he was playing in France... Man he could have been something special... :(
He had all the tools to become one of the greatest European players of all time... Such a shame.

You could probably get better value for a third big somewhere else but if you need a stretch 4 he'd be a good get.

i cant think of a worse environment for mully than the Lakers spotlight with d'antoni coaching. d'antoni will bring out the worst in him and that media will crush him and his love for the game.

Looks like Mullens is close to a deal with the Clippers. Chris Paul is going to make Mullens realize his potential and are we're going to look like idiots for letting him slip away from us. I know it. I just know that it's going to happen.

Leolovinliberal will be happy I guess. I hope Mully does well out there, he seemed like a nice guy. I hate his time here involved a rotating door of coaching staffs, that probably didn't help his development, nor that ankle sprain.

Bonnell is straight offended by all the people ragging on Mullens' shooting prowess (lack thereof), he was defending him on Twitter earlier. I just don't get some of the players Bonnell chooses to support (or in MKG's case, doesn't seem to support).

I have to admit, even with our loaded front-court, there was a part of me that wanted to bring him back. I know, it was painful watching him, but highly athletic 7-footers just don't grow on trees. He still has a ton of potential and I wish him the best.

Bonnell is such a moron. Insult MKG or Biyombo and he'll go along with it. Insult Sessions, Mullens or Henderson and he will act like you just banged his mother.

Well, Mully to LAC is bittersweet for me.

His production and playing time will be supplanted by Cody Zeller, whose bbiq must be 3x Mully's.

Still, it's hard not to think of what might of been. Mully still has breathtaking talent. I enjoyed watching him paired with McBob at the end of last season, an unusually effective combo. I enjoyed his truly goofy persona.

In LAC he will join a team where he will not be given a green light to play stupidly, where he will be surrounded by veteran high iq players, reigned in and position defined by one of the best coaches in the business. I expect him to do quite well, possibly even be a revelation. If he can find playing time.

For $2M a year I would have brought him back. I kind of hate to see him go. Though I can't say I'll miss his vacuous turnstile defense.
