Bogans didn't really liked it in Charlotte last time, why try again?

Off-topic, but I see Fat got a promotion
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Really lateral. I'd love to get rid of Driftwood but we need another guard with poor perimeter shooting like MJ needs to promote Higgins.

So I've just had a thought, after this trade between the Bucks and Pistons would any of you be interested in some package for Brandon Knight?

Obviously we are well aware of his weaknesses but he would be a good option for us backing up the backcourt and he can shoot alright and at least tries to play defense.

I really want us to keep Sessions but the fact he is expiring makes me think Cho could explore some trade options surrounding him.

Would any of you guys be interested in a Sessions for Knight swap? Milwaukee will be trying to compete as per usual and their roster is terribly out of sync.

Knight/Mayo/Delfino/Ilyasova/Sanders-Sessions would fit quite well and obviously has a history in Milwaukee, I know the trade looks ridiculous because Sessions is so much better than Knight but Knight could be groomed to the perfect role with us.

I wouldn't. I don't have confidence that Knight will ever be more than a slightly better Rodney Stuckey. Sessions is a more than competent back up who wants to be here. No point in rocking the boat.

76ers trade offer... Bad or Good?

Post#95 » by LeonJordanJr24 » Fri Aug 2, 2013 2:42 am

I since with the Al Jefferson move that your team is planning to compete. If Philly offered young pieces that fit your teams personnel would you accept it? A deal of Evan Turner , Thaddues Young and Spencer Hawes for MGK , Bismack Byombo and Ben Gordan expiring.

Evan Turner is a perfect compliment for Kemba Walker with his size and playmaking ability . Allowing Kemba to focus on scoring. Thaddues Young would be a super 6th man and a change of pace big man who can play 4 or 3 mins.
Spencer Hawes is a great passing big man and very good shooter for a 7fter. All players are 25 and younger.

Philly has more time to wait and develop raw talent like MGK and Bismack for years as they rebuild .

This would make the Jefferson move even worse.

Thaddeus Young is a nice player but he's a guy you add to your team when you're already good and are looking for one extra piece, in my opinion. Moreover, everyone on this board has hopes that MKG will become better than Thad who probably has reached his ceiling or Evan Turner who seems to not yet have found his true position and role in this league. Either way, you don't trade a number two draft pick after his rookie year for a player of Thaddeus Young's level or for a huge question mark in Turner.

Some of us are high on Bismack's work ethic, but even I, one of his biggest fans, have to admit that that's the part of the trade that would work in our favor. However, we're too invested in the Biyombo project to trade him at this point. It might come back to haunt us later on.

As for Hawes, we already have plenty of big men and he certainly isn't good enough to swing this trade in any way. Sure, we hate Ben Gordon but both players are on expirings so it's not a big deal.

Noel and Young would have to be included for the posters on this board to seriously consider giving up MKG. Even then chances are most would still be against it. MKG is practically untouchable.

I would trade MKG if we landed Wiggins, and I would have probably traded him for the Pelicans' #6 pick 2013/unprotected 2014 package that was almost proposed. But other than that, no use giving up on a player with elite skills, physicality and size before his 2nd season
