The sooner LTU is eliminated , the better, I say.

I was skeptical about Nedovic being the European Derrick Rose, but he actually looks like one.

Why take him out? Who cares at this point? Let him foul out.

He can't be Rose if he can't dunk like him

I think the Lithuanian vets play better with Javtokas. They're chuckers at heart and they don't want to worry about having to dump the ball into the post. Plus, Javtokas plays strong D. Wouldn't be surprised if they start dropping 3s in the next 3-5 minutes.

But you got to agree, he looks incredibly fast and really good at getting to the rim. Also, there are some highlights of him throwing down some really nasty dunks. All in all it looks like GSW got a homeless version of Rose, which is great to back up Curry.

A foreign coach is not coaching our national team. That's not happening.
Sadly D - Mo hasn't shown anything good - he's been vary shaky on defense and he doesn't have a clue what to do on offense. He's running around there like a chicken with his head chopped out. He definitely needs to calm down and relax - I think the presurre is getting to him.
That scrub that got the start over JV is the team captain and a very good defensive player. It was only logical that he got the start.
By the way this coach was very successful whilst coaching China and Yoa Ming had nothing but good words to say about him. He was also trusted to run CSKA Moscow for a few seasons and he did a fairly good job - reached Euroleague finals one year. His coaching ability is not something that a random poster on RealGm should question.

The Lithuanians seem awfully married to whatever coach is at the helm for all these tournaments. They were defending what's his face at the olympics last year too.

Have you been watching the game at all? Jonas is one of the worst players on the court today.

That was a sweet feed by Nedovic. Lithuania has had their chances, but they're taking a lot of off-balance out of rhythm shots.

I am frankly disappointed in Kazlauskas in this game. Bad decision to not start JV, bad decision on game plan by not involving him in offense at all. Our guards are bad, play through frontline. Stick to the plan.

Meh I didn't care that much for our last coach. He hadn't proven himself before coaching the National team so his firing didn't come as a surprise. And to be honest our players weren't that good.
However, questioning the ability of our current coach ( Kazlauskas) is dowright laughable.
