Where will Beasley end up? I'd take him as a stretch 4.

Think he may be out of our price range
i would think that too but maybe since his recent arrest and his track record (which isn't great by any means) could make teams steer away from him, which will lower his value vastly.its def worth the try, and if not then just go all in on LO despite his recent arrest as well.they can still ball guys lets not forget that.and we have nothing to lose this season so I say lets get it mitch

With the Suns ready to release Beasley within the next couple days and now with the Lamar Odom personal life situation dropping him out, its becoming more apparent this can be a realistic signing for our last roster spot. To be honest I'm starting to come around on it if he signs for the vet minimum. And to be honest he may even challenge Jordan Hill for the starting PF position. I wouldnt make that move though because Hill's better at rebounding and playing defense but Beasley can stretch the court. This maybe a blessing in disguise if we can bring him in

Most of you guys make me sick, we haven't the cap space and this guy could come for cheap. Most here act like the money to pay this guy is coming out of their own pockets. Like most Americans you will only remember the bad someone does, you will over look the good and focus on the bad. The dude has all the tools he needs to become a good player, he just didn't have enough around him. Bottom line dude fits a few our needs.

- long range 4
- younger legs
- can play the 3 so Bryan doesn't have too like last season

Over most of you Fake Lakers fans, if you really cared about the team then you would see this couldn't hurt us at all. If he's really a problem the you can cut him, plus this season really doesn't count, most don't see us winning for once we don't have a target on our backs and you fools don't want to add more help to the team.... Foolish

God I hope you guys sign him. You'd be the third straight fan base to say "its a low risk/high reward, what do we have to lose?" only to watch him defecate all over the court, be a cancer and embarrass your franchise.

You'd also be the third franchise to unite him and Wes Johnson... a match made in hell.

The problem with most franchises is that they expected something out of him. If we get him at a vets min, we can cut him if he doesn't do ****.

Why does everyone like Beasley? I don't think he's anything special. Dude reminds me Smush Parker with a hint of post-Kardashian Odom.

Please stay away from this guy.
His head is clearly not in the game.
Even if he had a ton of NBA talent, which is debatable, why would you want to bring someone on who just got busted for drugs.
He is simply not worth the headache.

Mitch, just don't do it.

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
For now, Lakers do not have interest in Michael Beasley, I hear.

Probably because the F.O. doubt we really have a shot of getting him... At the least somebody can offer him after the mini mid level or even 2mill. I doubt any team picks up his contract. But Beasley should get picked up for about 2-3mill we only have the vet min to offer

No team will sign Beasley. He's done. Maybe China. Last offseason two teams wanted Beasley (Detroit and Phoenix). GM's are getting smarter all the time. Having a guy who can only score on low efficiency, play iso ball, no defense, and not help chemistry is not desired on most teams (imagine that).

Beasley as our 8th or 9th rotational player off the bench is great. And for the vet minimum would be well worth it IMO. The guy can put the ball in the hoop for much needed bench scoring

What do the Lakers have to lose? Team chemistry? Realistically speaking the Lakers are probably somewhere between fighting for the playoffs and if all the stars align a second round exist.

Kobe supposedly can keep players in line. Let him take his shot with Beasley. Best case, he helps Lakers advance further in the playoffs. Worse case scenario is improves the tank. Most likely scenario , he stays the same person , gets cut and Lakers continue on their current trajectory.
