Hoping Orlando promote Oladipo to the starting lineup at some point in the season or at least give him 25-30 off the bench as a 6th man. Looks to be a better scorer than advertised.

I'm sure we will. His scoring is definitely better than any of us thought. He has a much better handle than advertised, and can get to the rim/draw fouls at will. Exciting player, he is all over the court and goes 100% the entire time.

I like this guy, also had a sick in between the legs pass, but I cannot find it. If he keeps this up, I think Waiters could become a trade piece along with Bennett.

 I like Sergey, but he's never going to be that good. Serviceable backup 2-guard.

Am I crazy for not wanting to trade Waiters and Bennett for Love or Aldridge?

Nah. I don't want to do those deals either. ESPECIALLY not for Aldridge. Bennett is basically Kevin Love if he reaches his potential anyway.

Doubt it. He probably is a better shooter, or has the potential to be. But I don't think he'll get double doubles and be a great rebounder in the league like Love, and they probably have the same defense.

I dunno if Bennett's better at anything skill-wise yet. But he's more explosive than Love, and Bennett has never been a rebounding slouch. I think as he gets more comfortable putting the ball on the floor and refines his already nice post game, he can have a very similar impact to Love in a few years.

He reminds me of Carmelo with that midrange face-up game and ability to make 3s, as well as use his strength to bully people in the post.

Reminds me a lot more of a less athletic Larry Johnson.

love always knew how to use his body and leverage to carve out space. he's a very physical player. bennett is not. he actually plays a lot smaller and softer than you would figure a player built like him would play. that was my main beef with him as a prospect (well that along with his piss poor defensive effort).
he'll have to learn to play physically which is something love always had in his game.

LJ was such a better all around player. higher iq, intense competitor, much more physical player, really good passer, better post player.
i dont like that comparison at all. i see al harrington in bennett.

I though he would be a great for Minnesota for this very reason. If Bynum ever gets healthy he would be a great guy for Bynum to pass out of double teams to, can shoot the open shot and looks willing to make the next pass if the defense rotates.

James Ennis /Heat/scored 27 points on 8-14 shooting 9-9 Ft 6 Reb 2 blocks in his 2nd game in Australia. He is the leagues top scorer.

Ennis was a Hawk draft pick traded to the Heat on draft night.

Some great clips in this video, his passing looks surprisingly good, same goes for his basketball IQ. Hope he can have the opportunity to make an impact on OKC, rather than Brooks just giving Perkins all the minutes at Centre. I'm from Oceania myself so am particularly keen to see this NZ guy succeed!

Noticing your name, wouldn't it have been nice to see this guy developing behind Lopez? I know a lot of Blazer fans were high on this guy, myself included, and with CJ's injury it makes one wonder if going for the high upside big man might have actually been the safer choice!

You already have Meyers as your project big, there was really no need to draft Adams.

Karasev is one of the steals of the draft for me, i had pencilled him in the lottery in my mock. He has a great offensive package already, just his ability to run PnRs at 6'7'' makes him a very valuable player. He can play SG as well, i think it's better for him to stay at SF. His main weakness is defense, but i think it'll be masked well in the Cavs.

I'm pretty anxious to see what Nerlens looks like in the NBA. What's the timeline on his return?

Really want to see him as well, should be motivated to prove the teams that passed on him wrong.

So far Brett Brown & the 76ers are being rather vague and ominous about Noel's return. They're letting it be known that it's possible he may not see much/any time this season.
