When you run the offense through Seraphin for two quarters, you lose. Huh. Would never have guessed. No plays for Harrington, Ariza or Webster. A good three dozen for Seraphin. Why aren't we hitting Webster in the corner? Why aren't we pushing the action? Why are we trying to make everyone do something they aren't fit for?

Ive been saying it forever. Witt should not be our coach. Is he a championship coach? Is he a guy that you think is going to lead you to a title? If the answer is NO then why is he our coach?

I'd take Andre Miller over John Wall any minute of a day. And Beal is so overrated... Veteran guard needed...

Booker is number reason game was lost. Undersized big that can't rebound. I can understand if you have an undersized big that can rebound---but having an undersized big who also can't rebound and has slow reaction speed mentally... Leonsis should be ashamed.

Seraphin not being able to draw fouls and rebound is the second reason this game was lost.

Booker and Seraphin have exceptionally slow mental reaction speed. Leonsis clearly is not holding them accountable.
Wall not being able change speeds and keep a tight handle is the final reason the wizards lost this game.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

EG gave away next years pick when he had Wolters in the draft and could have used Maynor's money on DeJuan Blair. As we speak Blair is having a darn fine game for Dallas, alongside Dirk Nowitski.

Blair could have been the Okafor-injury insurance, and thus the pick that went for (one season rental) Okafor could have been saved.

I am a Wizard fan and I was 30 years before Ted Leonsis and his billions bought in. I am very critical of his buddy Ernie and I think the Wizards deserve to suck because they get free, good, advice yet the smugly choose to think they know better. They DO NOT.

Most people on this board would be better GMs then EG has been. ALL his good moves last season (Okafor/Ariza et al) were merely damage control from bad moves prior.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Eddie Jordan got treated wrong, fired after he made the playoffs with teams that had tons of injuries. The Wizards have STUNK since EJ. They have a LOT OF TALENT NOW. However, they are losing to Philly due to coaching today.

Coaches have favorites, closed minds, and are turning a blind eye to a young "superstar". Wall is a max deal player and I hope his mom reads this. He must slow down, stop forcing shots, listen to the next Okafor on this team. The coach is really going to have to game plan and be flexible. The Wizards, with guys like Maynor, are no longer a defensive team per se.

Energy and match ups don't line up with Wittman's guys any longer.

Wizards should have traded Nene before Okafor. NO WAY should they have waived the ASSETS WHO CAME IN THE DEAL WITH GORTAT. But they did.

I'm probably not going to post much if they're the losers they look like today. I won't punish you guys. I'm just sick of this losing, but I won't even post this because TED and EG know better. Right?

I just dont like how in like 8 preseason games and 2 regular season games, we have been outhustled. We get beat to every loose ball. Teams get so many 2nd chance oppurtunities. Its like we dont want it as bad as Philly & Detroit did

76ers fan, quick comments:

What is Wall's deal? He seeemed like a different player in the 2nd half, like he shot his load or something. Really strange. He shows flashes of Rose-esque, then becomes a shadow of himself? Is this normal for him?

Beal's bad night basically handed us the victory.

MCW got owned by Wall in first half, but he showed composure in the 2nd half and made some good shots. He's going to be good, but if people expect him to put up good #s every night they're delusional. He'll drop 5-6 pts & 4 assists on some nights then 20-10 on others.

Us in Philly are hoping for a MCW - Turner - Wiggins - Thad Young - Noel starting 5, 2-0 isn't helping, but still fun to watch.

DeMarcus Cousins or Wall?

WALL IF YOU"RE LURKING: Prove people wrong. You CAN DO IT. But IMO you're going to have to be smarter than Wittman, Cassell, or especially EG.

I think playing hard and having a style that suits defensive transition is best. A vocal leader is going to have to emerge who can rally the team into being cohesive and together.

Guys like Nate Wolters and Kelly Olynyk would have been MUCH BETTER CHOICES on the bench. Blair has won. Shannon Brown has won. Marshall is as good or better than Maynor IMO.

But when the owner and the GM don't know these things, you're screwed. Wall has to save the day now.

Wel this sucks, a game that should have been an easy win turns into a turd because of Wittman's crappy rotations. Beal couldn't hit a shot to save his life and Ariza turned it over like crazy towards the end of the game. I wouldn't blame any of this loss on Wall, he played as hard as he could. I feel bad for him, he just wants to win so bad. Webster needs the ball in his hands more often.

I'm starting to hate Nene, it seems like he just wants to sit back and collect checks. The softest big in the game.

Not surprised by this one bit. Sixers are well coached... but they aren't that good and I expect them to crash back to earth once the league gets a good scouting report on them. MCW is probably a better athlete than I thought but IMO he's been playing over his head.

Take Wall off this team and it probably would struggle to meet last year's 4-28 start.

As an innocent bystander (philly fan) I don't lknow much about your front office situation, but I would agree, the players didn't seem to care in the 2nd half as much. Energy was lackluster.

The impression I'm getting so far is of a team built by someone who's heard stories about basketball and may have read the owner's manual that came with the corner office but might not, now that you mention it, ever have seen basketball occur per se. Tall people are involved, sometimes it's good to be able to shoot from far away, there is apparently something to be said for both a veteran presence and for youth. I'm reminded of the speculative discussions one might have at thirteen or fourteen once you've become very sure that something that answers to sex exists.

I will add very pointedly that at least other franchises with mundane aspirations manage not to confound that with boring and ugly play.

Hello everyone, also.

Based on what..?? :-?

Funny how Wall pretty much had to carry this team from start to finish, yet gets blamed b/c the rest of the team didn't came to play... This board is getting more unreadable by the year...

I don't know what happened to Wall in the second. The way he started, i thought it was gonna be another Memphis game. Then Randy inexplicably takes him out for 6 game-time minutes and he completely loses his rhythm. He stopped attacking on offense and he kept getting beat off the dribble on the other end.

Beal was a nightmare all game though.
