I usually come home from work and watch the Bucks game then teams I like to watch after that. Watching quality baskeball afterwards really helps with the Bucks depression. You can get a lot of games in replaying and cutting out add breaks and other stoppages. I can get 3 games in the time it takes to watch one live. The passing on display in the Wolves/Warriors should be sooo pretty.

Have you heard of this Ricky Rubio guy? May get some burn in the game.

Ill give the Bucks the first qtr to woo me. Twolves/GS is just too damn exciting to not watch live.

Hey, maybe your team just isn't good?
Sorry everyone hated the Mitchell firing
Are you sure about that? I seem to remember a stickied "Draw Smitch a Play" thread or something like that referencing how he couldn't call plays.
EDIT: lots of celebrating going on in the thread announcing his firing too.

I was going by people I knew in Toronto, not RGM. I guess I shouldn't have said everyone

He's up to 24/8 on great percentages. Dallas killing LAL. I just need the Lakers to get that 8th playoff spot. Get them out of the lotto. But not sure they will be able to do it.
Finished with 30 and 9. I watched most the game last night, dare I say Monta was playing with good decision making. Passing up three's for better looks, driving and kicking to teammates, no 360 layups.
I don't think the Lakers have enough talent, not even to sneak into the 8th seed especially in the West. Hopefully the players like Pau help them to enough wins though that they aren't in position to get a top 5 pick or so, but that roster is pretty terrible. Nash looks finished and Nick Young lead the team in shot attempts last night, Jodie Meeks was 2nd.

Remember during the draft he kept falling and everyone here was begging the Bucks to trade our 2nd and a future 2nd so we could move up to get him? Then we didn't do that and it eventually got to the Spurs and we all got really sad because we knew there was no way they were going to pass up taking Blair for a couple 2nds? That would have been a nice win now move for Kohl. Oops.
Also, Anthony Davis is beasting. Shooting percentages are low so far but his TS% is still 53.4 because of his awesome free throw shooting and his shooting percentage should improve. I also remember a discussion about how Davis would just be a defensive specialist, which I laughed at at the time and laugh at now.

It looks like Monta is off to a good start. Why not...
We'll see how it plays out though.

Meanwhile in Detroit, J-Smoove and Jennings combined to go 11-36 and 2-12 on three's with a .75/1 A:TO ratio.

Bledsoe with uh 25, 5, 4, 3 on 10-12 shooting.
He's making the leap folks.......
Did people do this with Curry, too? Because the Bucks actually had a legit chance to get that guy.
Bledsoe turning into a star is a great development for the Bucks. Just another team that may not actually lose 62 games.

This is why I was ranting about people here needing to let the Bledsoe thing go. We actually, truly, had-it-confirmed-via-other-team's-employee that we could have had Steph Curry but choose Ellis. That should make people way more angry then the Bledsoe thing.

The issue isn't whether the Clips would have ultimately taken Redick for Caron and Bledsoe. The issue is whether our front office realized Bledsoe is the type of guy you target and overpay for. Include any combination of Moute, Udoh and Ersan if needed and Bledsoe is suiting up for the Bucks right now.

It's getting to the point where it's difficult to keep track of which players I should rue.
There Tobes, Klay, Curry and now Bledsoe.
But can one rue both Tobes and Klay, since it was one or the other at the draft? At least now we can focus on other players besides Tobias.

Hypothetically if Brandon Knight has a good week, will we be going crazy saying he's the future too? Or chalk it up as a good stretch and he won't keep it up? I'm guessing the latter. I'm going to wait and see on Bledsoe. So far, so good, so what...its only been a week. But if you want to crown him, crown him!
Yeah I just dropped a Megadeth and Denny Green paraphrase back to back.

I would've given up our 2013 1st for Bledsoe and said so repeatedly

I think both Jennings and Ellis will land around the career norms over time.
Is Dallas really willing to give the lions share of shots to Ellis? If they continue to do so I think it will cost them.
Regardless we all know that these guys are high usage, often low efficiency players. With that they are both capable of big games. Ellis has had a couple of those already.
Ellis is outplaying Mayo for sure so far.

Chandler is out4-6 weeks, and the Knicks are now one of the worst teams in the entire league.

Defense was going to be a major problem for the Knicks this year with Tyson Chandler.
Without him they are toast. I can't see them making the playoffs.
If I'm John Hammond......or should I say David Morway.....I would be on the phone asking for a 1st round pick for Udoh.

should start World Peace at Center, although Bargs would be more entertaining to me

The problems is that the front office didn't want Bledsoe. They were stuck on getting Hawks like Korver and Teague to try and run Drew's system in their eternal quest for the playoffs.
The reality is that the Bucks already had one piece to get Bledsoe, in Redick. I am pretty sure if they really wanted him, they could've added a couple of more pieces to get him. I would think Ersan is worth more than Dudley. Or maybe trade Jennings to the Suns for Dudley and ship Dudley to the Clips. Many possibilities.
