Sure.

Once you are starting Nene and Gortat, you can start either Webster or Trevor A more easily. But I doubt Randy would change that now.

Good win but not the formula to win consistently, shot 18-33 3pt and 25-66 2pt cant count on draining 3s each game...another note, can someone on the coaching staff tell Wall to stop with the cross-court jump pass

Yup. Our defense has been sub par, we're getting badly out rebounded and we only have 10 made FTs.

when you have Nene grabbing 4 rebounds in 30 mins, combined with Seraphin and Al (LOL), you're gonna ger outrebounded EVERY night!

Wiz got more shoots.

98 to 83

Raining 3s

18-33

but they did stay fairly hot for the duration.

Wall!
Beal, Webster, Ariza and Harrington all hitting from deep.

Monster game from Gortat.

Yeah, Gortat is settling in. But man that dude have zero leaps.

Having gotten paid, he probably cares a lot less about starting.

He wasn't expecting to start.

3 assists and 0 turnovers. In fact, Maynor hasn't recorded a single turnover this season.

Didn't like him in the 1st half but he was decent in the 2nd.

I'll say it again, if he just passes the ball and controls the tempo, he'll be fine. Price had no clue out there except to launch 3s. I don't want my backup point guard shootings 3s unless there's no time on the shotclock. All he has to do is get 5 points, 4 assists and 1 turnover and give John 15 minutes rest. Play decent D and don't shoot too many shots.

We really don't have any other options. I don't want to see Beal at the point and Temple makes Maynor seems like Chris Paul. Once again, we won't make or miss the playoffs because Maynor sucks, It's all about Wall, Beal, Gortat, Nene's health, Ariza/Webby.

He's not going to get bailed out late in a game just throwing his body into the lane. Plus with the full squad out there he has to make the passes that present themselves.

one could easily make the counter argument that a Wall that isn't aggressively
getting fouled is going to stand up to the rigors of the season a lot better than
the guy who is constantly picking himself up off the floor.

If he gets hurt by constantly attacking the rim, we're screwed.

It has to be a balance. For one thing, it makes him less predictable and
harder to guard.

And despite mediocre shooting he had double figures in pts in the first half.
Beal is going to be just fine.

thanks KW.

If you had to guess the score in the game by the tone of posts in the first half,
you would swear we were getting blown out instead of blowing out the home team.
Our first W in Philly since 2010 I think they said....

one other thing I realized after the game was over, Maynor was the
only true guard that came off the bench. Lots of us had been clamoring
for Martell to get some run at the 2. Beal didn't play 48 minutes so
Webster must've been the guy.

? that skip pass gets Wall half of his assists and helped earn Webster 22 million dollars. That pass is one of Wall's most deadly weapons.

Pretty much were I am at with it. And as he learns his teammates and the team actually has some inside out options, he should be able to manage the team better. He is a back up PG glue guy. Not a Nate Robinson scoring guy.

POTG clearly Wall

Notable mention. Nene because he allowed them to not start booker and gave them the post option they needed to allow more inside out and to allow Gortat to go off.

Then Gortat, Webster and Trevor A got it done. Even BG AL pitched in.

Wall said they were doubling down in the post, so he was taking the open look.

Yep. Glen Consor said the same thing on the postgame show.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

That was our most effective play last year. Webster and Beal made a living out of spotting up in the corner and nailing the 3 off of Wall's jump pass.
