I just don't understand why our defense is this bad. I don't see that Gortat is really doing anything wrong, but I can't say I want to extend him if we continue to give up points in the paint like this. Once get a taste of being great defensively, you really can't accept anything else. I really miss what we had last year.

I'm not sure what the answer is. New coaching? New defensive scheme? A defensive PF?

If you go up soft you're not gonna get a call. You have to go up hard and exaggerate the contact a lot. That's what the veteran teams do.

Martell with only 8 minutes and ZERO shot attempts in the first half. This guy has been the Wizards most efficient scorer for the first 4 games by far, what gives???

At home, and we've gotten to the line twice so far, compared to BKN's 14 attempts. Need to start attacking more and refs need to start blowing their whistles

When Harrington is in the game Gortat will have to defend the paint by himself.

I think we only have one loss if we had a healthy Mek with us right now. We really underrated what he did for us defensively.

Gortats solid offensively, but I think I've seen enough to say that he's not even as good as Emeka.

This is really frustrating.

Wow 10 assists for Wall. Beal is 8-12. Fantastic play all around to start the 3rd.
