Witt should sit all of the starters. It's just expensive garbage on the floor.

After Wall tore it up the last 30 games or so last year and got rewarded with a max extension then watching him so far this year I cant help but think of the Blatche situation...eerily similiar

Wall had 3 assists tonight. 5 of 19 from the floor.

And we had 13 assists as a team.. just terrible ball movement

By contrast the Spurs had 28 team assists, with only one player over 4.

I'm on DVR delay so I guess I haven't gotten to the train wreck yet.

But I have to say.

SA offense is a thing of beauty. They get right into it. Players just cut. Next pass. Cut. Spacing. Parker drives. Players rotate and get open shots.

It really is nice.

But we are talking about a team that was one pass away from a title last year that plays good team ball.

Wait. Trevor A pulled a hammy ? Looks like Webster to the starting line up next game.

This game looked like even Spurs towell boy could score on Wizards today.

Going back to be down 5 and then 16-0 run for San Antonio... what the hell.

What's worse is that outside of the first 7 or 8 minutes of the game, they were pretty much on cruise control all game, with Duncan having one of his worst games in recent memory, and we still got beat down.

Parker just carves up a D on those methodical drives.

How about Rubio today - 16-16-6-3. In 30 minutes. So glad EG traded that #5 pick a few years ago

But but Glen Rice Jr and Ves should be getting minutes. Randy Whitman is just a plain stubborn ol' fool for not playing these obvious gems...

We finally held a team under 100 points!

Lot of blame to go all around this game, but anybody that thinks that playing Vesely or Rice more minutes this season is going to help the Wizards win are kidding themselves. Vesely is just that horrible and Rice is just not ready.

I had hope for Maynor, but the kid is complete garbage. I hope Witt straps him to the bench and uses Temple as Wall's backup. At least Temple will play some defense.

As I said before, the margin for error on this team is just so small that it cant afford to have an off night from any of its starters. Aside for Martell (who I think should be in the starting lineup), we have absolutely nothing off the bench....NOTHING.

Just got back from playing basketball. I'm glad I missed it.

Jan Vesely was -21 in 22 minutes. LOL.
Eric Maynor was -17 in just 8 minutes.

What a traveshamockery.

Hey, only lost by 13 this time.

Points in the paint SA: 52

Ouch.

But hey, held them to 92. Randy is probably please with the D.

Anyway. The touch beginning year schedule is behind us now. Not completely unexpected results.

Dallas looks pretty good. There weakness isn't the start of the year, its can they last.
Philly.. No one expected them to be as good as they are. At least we made up for the home loss against them.
BRK - Took them at home. That was a good sign.
OKC into OT.. No one expected that

So 2-6 isn't really all that unexpected.

Next up

CLE at Home
MN at Home

Win those two and they are 4-6. Not so bad.

Return to Washington Wizards
