In a perfect world of a drunken Knicks fan:

Carmelo, Shumpert, Hardaway, cash for Lopez, Batum, Matthews, Crabbe, McCollum and a first?

haha i like this idea but id tell them to keep crabbe and we keep Hardaway. And do everything else you offered.

Yeah i just think that McCollum and a first is a lot to ask for Shumpert and cash so i threw in basically a swap of two similar guys with them getting the better one to even things out

I'm tempted to say Rudy is a worse contract than Amare because Amare can hardly get on the floor, but Rudy actually loses you a ton of games.

Broussard tweeted that Boston would take back Amare if it allowed them to shed Wallace and/or Lee. Would the Knicks take Courtney Lee, Brandon Bass and Kris Humphris for Amare? Knicks could get a 3rd team involved and take back $4.7m in additional salary? Would need an asset and/or Rondo to take on Wallace.

Do you think Spike Lee would still support the Knicks if the team was majority White players?

Woud rather keep Amare and let him expire then take on Lee/Wallace.

Please trade JR and not Shumpert. We can then go ahead and drop the other Smith.

15th guy doesn't play, but he does play in practice and practice matters to the whole team. It is like your workplace, you have one slacker and it brings the level of quality down for everyone cause now people think, yeah but I am working harder than that guy.

Outgoing -
Knicks:
Felton
Stat
Shump
Tim Jr.
fut 1st

LA:
Blake
Nash
cond fut 1st

Boston:
Humphries
Rondo
Wallace
Lee

Incoming -
NY:
Rondo
Wallace
Lee
Blake

LA:
Humphries
Felton

Boston:
Nash
Stat
Shump
Tim Jr.
1st
cond fut 1st

Why for Boston:
They get to shed Wallace and Lee's salary and get 2 1st picks while also getting Shump and Tim Jr. Nash and Stat will be huge expirings next year that could net them further assets. They could possibly even use them with some of the 11 draft picks in the 5 years coming (!) to net them another Superstar, I think Minnesota will start to listen at some point. New Orleans might decide at some point that having 4 large contracts will be too much once Davis gets his extension and trade someone like Eric Gordon. If nothing else the possibility of the Nash & Stat P'n'R might make for some Nostalgia Revenue.

Why for LA:
Changing Nash for Felton gives them more Space next summer. It could mean all the difference if it becomes clear that Kobe wants his Max. Kobe-Max and Nash would eat 42M, meaning it will be hard to offer a 2nd full Max. Feltons 5.5M less would make it much easier. Nash is a corpse right now so they wouldn't perceive it as a loss. D'Antoni might even like Felton, they seemed to get along in NY. Humphries is actually pretty productive when he sees the floor and a Rotation of Hill/Gasol/Humphries is actually pretty respectable.
Having said that, they might not want to shed the 1st and if Boston bites without it, then you have to do it without it. Maybe their FA-Chase could delay this trade and make it appear once it becomes clear that LeBron is not coming there. The Lakers are most likely not going to go tanking and their new ownership doesn't necessarily seem to have much foresight. If they don't need the space then they might take Bargs instead of Humphries who would then be coming to us.

Why for NY:
Basically foregoing the 15 FA but with Tyson/Bargs we would still have some options to make some noise next year if teams start getting desperate to shed salary. Think Houston in 2010 when we gave them all we had in order to have that 2nd Max Slot.

Blake is a surprisingly productive Stop-Gap that fills the void until Rondo is healthy, once Rondo returns, we could be talking a backcourt of Rondo-Lee with Blake-Pablo-JR as backup, not too shabby if you ask me. I would also force players like Toure to see whether they can roll, in which case Blake could become a nice little expiring.

Lee and Wallace will "destroy" our 15 FA, but they both are still productive and will mesh well with Melo-Rondo-Tyson. Lee can shoot the 3, Wallace is a slasher so Melo can shoot his heart out after getting set up by Rondo while the others can convert the garbage. Melo-Wallace-Tyson could also be a great rebounding frontline. Rondo, no explanation needed.

Of course, Crash could, well, crash and burn and it is questionable if he stays productive and healthy. But see it that way. With this trade we'd still have two huge expirings in 15 in Tyson&Bargs (although I'd be open to keep Chandler for a medium sized extension something like 2/20) and in 16 we'd have Crash (&Lee). So we'd be in place to make a move to tweak our roster basically every year through Rajon and Melo's prime. And who's to say we're not getting the assets to add to that core at some point?

Getting that package could very well also mean that our playoff spot won't get secured until late in the season, so once its done we shouldn't panick and force Rajon to play early or some bull. But to me at least,
a playoff rotation of Rondo-Lee-Wallace-Melo-Tyson with a bench of Blake-Pablo-JR-Bargs-KMart and a 3rd string unit of Udrih-Toure-MWP-Tyler-Aldrich sounds pretty strong.

Felton + JR + Kenyon Martin for Shved + Williams + Muhammad.

I've got one Wolves fan saying he'd do it.

How about trading to get Monroe? Detroit is looking for a SG and both Imam and Ray might be happy to join Cheeks.
As for us, Monroe is surely a good add that can save Bargs from putting too much (!) effort on the Difensive End
Michael Jordon may have been the best basketball player in history, but he couldn't have won six NBA titles without a team.

First of all, you should CTF down. I'm new, yes, and so what? I'm a knick fan and I'd like to speak my mind about few things. If you don't like it I honestly don't care.
