Or how about:

Amare to Boston

Humphries to LA

Nash, Wallace, Lee, Kaman to NY

Maybe replace Kaman with Jordan Hill? Getting rid of Nash would be a big plus for LA.

Of course, this increases the chances of Melo going to LA.

NY gets: Goran Dragic, Courtney Lee, Gerald Wallace, Channing Frye

Phoenix gets: Iman Shumpert, Kris Humphries

Boston gets: Amare Stoudamire

works under trade checker: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kpsyox2

value is there but i think phx likes the way there 2 pg lineup works

Felton + Hardaway Jr. for Andre Miller seems to make sense for both teams.

Affalo jameer and glen Davis would all be perfect fits for knicks come to think of it

Jameer is a pg who can control a team initiate the offense and knock down the 3 ball consistently

Aflalo is a rich mans shumpert right now and would be a perfect fit for our team by being a top defender and shooter

Big baby can be the inside presence we need scoring wise and can really board. He's also a threat from 15 feet so you can't really leave him like you could someone like faried

I don't see how they don't do this deal without shumpert. Come to think of it, shumpert doesn't have much use on the Orlando squad as constructed

Chandler / bargs
Big baby / Martin
Melo / metta
Afflalo / jr
Nelson/ Felton

Not saying we should want to take them or that the other team would want to deal them (they wouldn't), but two PG's who basically suck -- for different reasons -- and who are on huge contracts:

- Deron Williams

- John Wall

If those clubs were being really smart and really honest with themselves, they'd reverse course soon, admit mistakes, take Amar'e and get out of those contracts so they can free their cap up.

I honestly don't think either is an immense upgrade over Ray, because Deron is injured and broken down and worse than ever, and Wall is not even much of anything, but eh. Just throwing it out there.

NY Trades: Tyson Chandler / Iman Shumpert / Raymond Felton / Amar'e Stoudemire
NY Receives: Rajon Rondo / Robin Lopez / Gerald Wallace / Courtney Lee / Brandon Bass / Earl Watson

Portland Trades: Robin Lopez / CJ McCollum / Thomas Robinson / Earl Watson
Portland Receives: Tyson Chandler

Cleveland Trades: Dion Waiters
Cleveland Receives: Iman Shumpert / Marshon Brooks

Boston Trades: Rajon Rondo / Gerald Wallace / Courtney Lee / Brandon Bass / Marshon Brooks
Boston Receives : Dion Waiters / CJ McCollum / Raymond Felton /Thomas Robinson / Amar'e Stoudemire

Portland needs to continue playing competitive basketball, in order to consider making a move to keep LMA happy and take the next step.

With everything going on behind closed doors in Cleveland, and rumors that Waiters gave Irving a black eye, there may be some roster changes on the horizon...and Shumpert is a BEAST fit next to Kyrie. (Waiters having the extra year and being much better offensively, he holds better value than Shumpert...gotta figure out how to get them more value).

We get our guy in Rondo, and add Lopez to fill the void by losing Chandler.

Boston gets a jumpstart on their rebuild by shedding the additional year of their worst contracts, and get some offensive punch in the backcourt with McCollum and Waiters that are both cost-controlled...while taking a flyer on Thomas Robinson.

The question is do you sacrifice the next 2 years for 2015 OR go all in on this roster with the ability to start fresh with all draft picks (for now) after 2016. I might go with the former.

We would have to wait for three months but what do you guys think of:

LA Clippers: Collison, DeAndre Jordan
NY Knicks: Tyson Chandler

Chandler played some of his best basketball with CP3 and has championship experience. We need a better PG.
Play time is over.

Jordan in short sucks

Jordan is not as good as Chandler but does not "suck". He is averaging 11 / 13 / 2 this year.

I could care less what he's averaging

he cant shoot a lick and he's too much of a liability come playoff time

of course it is but we dont have the PG nor coach to make up for what he lacks

he'd be a huge liability on this team IMO

Right. I just think we need to start looking for options at PG and Collison has shown that he can play. Idea of the trade is to get Collison without losing too much at center.

And both of their contracts run through 2015. So we wouldn't be hurting our long term cap space.

I like Collison but he's more of a back up as well

Pacers learned the hard way with him then Dallas as well

He's fine in his role with the Clippers

obviously Rondo is our main target with guys like Dragic and Vasquez options as well

still think we can find a guy, the right deal will present itself if its meant to happen

Getting Dragic + Asik and giving up Tyson, Bargnani and either Shumpert of Hardaway Jr would give this team direction.

Rondo is definitely one of my favorite players but I don't see how it is possible we get him. Boston is too smart to trade a guy who is as good as anybody in this league come playoff time.

The only guy we could legitimately offer for Rondo would be Melo IMO. And that's not going to happen so...

Just not sold on Dragic. I wonder if Utah would take Shump for Burke?

Burke hasn't played yet I doubt they move him and we need a proven vet here

Rondo is a long shot but who knows

Return to New York Knicks
