4 games in 5 nights and they got 3 wins. Well done. Wall got a fist pump out of me when he backed up and hit that late 3.

Nice game from Gortat too. I bet he wishes he could go up against that front line more often.

Honorable mention to Webster for hitting 5 treys.

Well, in the end very successful week going 3-1 in our 4 games in 5 nights. We have to take LA serious, their feisty.

Beast of a game by Wall. Beals legs much be tired so the 3 ball isn't there.

And Randy figured out a way to weave the utility bench.

Ves 23 min
Maynor 10 min
Temple 16 min

They don't have to score. They just have to eat up some minutes to rest the starters and do something useful. That bench gave them 9 rebounds. They shot 3-7. 2 assists Only 1 turnover.

No starter over 40 mins.

Oh, and the refs sucked.

Wittman did a nice job with the rotations today - particularly in the 2nd half. He pulled Beal and Nene out early, but allowed Wall and Gortat to stay in the game until the end of the quarter. He then made sure that Beal and Nene came back in when it was time to take Wall and Gortat out. He gave most of the backup minutes to Temple and Vesely, so we didn't have to endure Maynor's ineptitude for long, and we never even saw Seraphin.

Nice game from the starters. Our bench scares the hell out of me.

Martell defintely held his own against Melo. He should have been starting from the start of the season.

Melo - 23 points off 19 shots
Webster - 19 points off 11 shots

:)

Starters scored 92 points. Bench scored 6.

Gotta keep pointing this out until EG gets fired.

Lucky they had a good lead and it was mostly about eating up minutes.

Gortat was a monster on the offensive boards.
Webster hitting the 3

Ves with another solid contribution off the bench.

We're going to be like the Blazers were last year. Our starters will be worn out completely by Game 50 or 60.

I would have played Booker some to put on Melo b/c Booker at least as the body to match up with Melo. Otherwise, I agree with you Nate.

When Ariza comes back, just play Temple as the full time backup PG.

Beno and Prigioni just not quick enough to cover Wall. That was a huge difference in that game.

And Beno was 1-7

Beno has a role off the bench, but he is no starter. Not unless the team can cover for him defensively.

Yeah, Gortat was good since 2nd quarter - many rebounds, p&r and setting screens. I love those screens when John has empty road to the rim.

They would be better if they had Chandler and Felton. Its tough to be good without your PG and your defensive anchor.

But we would be better if we had Trevor A and Otto. But thats not losing your PG ad C.
