He hit some big shots when we were having trouble scoring and also rebounded and had some assists. The shot to tie the game in regulation was huge. I know a lot of people criticized EG for giving Martell the mid-level, but he is earning his money thus far. Hope it continues.

Obviously, Ariza had some key plays and Nene's two rebounds at the end were huge (he was not so good the rest of the game). If we can get Beal back soon, and Porter and Harrington can get healthy and give us some semblance of a bench, this team could be pretty good, especially in the god awful East.

Maybe this team is starting to finally grow up. This is the type of game they would have lost last year.

agree with all except I actually believed they would win pretty much the whole time.
I know MIL hasn't been kind to us but this team has a little mojo going for it right now
and MIL has some serious negative mojo. Webster was really good although I was stunned
he missed the FT for the 4 pt play. I still give PotG to Gortat. 11-12 is too good not give
it to him.

This team is actually fun to watch again, having two bigs that know how to pass and can actually hit a 10 foot jumper has opened up sooo much space on the court. All this team needs is to trade for a bully of a back up center (pachulia, varejao, bass, Faverani or Plumlee) and they're set for a nice run.

Bass is a backup center?

Again, not saying it hasn't happened. I just can't remember one. And I was at that game. It was Cartier Martin with the shot that sent it into OT.

In this league yes he capable to play 5-10 spot minutes a game at center. Sure hes better at PF but he can play along side Nene or that Polish dude. Back up centers across the league are laughable in general, Bass can hold his own.

With all due respect, if Nene or that Polish dude are in the game with Bass, Bass isn't playing center, they are.

Yea i understand stand that. I meant that most of the time he would play with either one of them (i would like to Nene play more with the second team regardless), but he could give 5-10 minutes of spot Center duty if they were both on the bench.

^Agreed, my interest in Bass would primarily be as a reserve PF. I was just taking a shot at Seraphin. LOL

hell no, hell no, hell no. You just talked about having 2 good passing bigs and then you want to add the big who passes the least in the NBA? If you thought Harrington was bad, you havent seen nothing compared to Bass. He's the biggest black hole big man in the league. He shoots it every single time

Loved watching the game last nite.... Love being back in DC for the week and getting to see these games. I might be going Saturday to the game... mega pumped !

And exactly, last night's game was the one we would typically lose. But we played hard and got the win. Wall is an all star FOR SURE this year. Beal should be one too if he comes back soon healthy. Starting to really like what we have here and excited to see Beal and Otto back in... and a full healthy lineup.

He hit 3 free throws to send it to OT.

Haha he wouldn't be my first choice, he's simply a better option then anyone we have on the roster.

Off topic, but does anyone have a link to a streaming feed for tonight's game against Indy?
