As is I think this team is more than capable of claiming close to last place in the league. Any time Lowry misses is basically a Utah-level team, which is inevitable

Rap fans are getting their hopes up with the tank. A team worthy enough for a top 3 pick wouldn't be up 27 points against GS. We also wouldn't be able to come back against Miami and make a competitive game. The inevitable is us finishing 9th or 10th.

I'm not a tanker but that was a great loss for tWo.

Even when the players play efficiently and execute the game plan, they cannot close the deal because of a lack of appropriate adjustments on both offense and defense in the 4th. Another game that clearly shows that Casey cannot coach and needs to be removed, but he won't be and that will preserve the tank.

And after this stretch the Raptors are 2 games back from 3rd worst record in the league and 3 games back from worst. That will take some dedicated tanking to achieve but it is within the realm of possibility. And the raptors chance of getting #1 overall just jumped from 0% to 2.8% and the chance of getting a top 3 pick from 0% to 10%.

How clutch was the tanking? I was out but I saw the Raptors were up by double digits with 9 minutes left and got worried.

I check the final score on my phone and see we lost by double digits.

That loss against the Warriors was one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my life. I applaud you, Raptors, you sure know how to blow either huge leads or comebacks. Now it will be a tough game against the Suns. If the tank wins, we can expect this losing streak to continue for at least a few more games. Also, we can only pray that Kobe is back on the court once we play the Lakers.
