I was never impressed with Harvey. His brother from Clemson and three time NBA champion was the Grant I wanted on the Bullets.

I liked the Webber/Howard combo. I would have liked to have seen the What-If scenario had they stayed together and added the third piece.

but Abe/Wes Unseld.

The Washington Wizards sent Chris Webber to the Sacramento Kings today in exchange for Mitch Richmond and Otis Thorpe.

While Webber has been considered one of the bright young talents in the league, Richmond and Thorpe are both in their 30's and in the twilights of their careers. However, both have earned the reputation for staying out of trouble, something that appeals to the Wizards' owner, Abe Pollin.

The Polish Ham/Wall pick & roll is becoming quite the weapon. Gortat is a good finisher around the rim.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

He really is. He's proving that last season was a down season for him due to injury and that he's really the player he was before the injury - a very good 2-way center. Now that he's better connected to the team - and particularly to Wall - I think the best is yet to come.

After watching those vids, I'm continuing to like Marcin more and more.

The guy actually WANTS to be a part of the Wizards organization, we haven't heard that from a player in a while.

He seemed legitimately excited about the whole Polish angle and having a stronger connection to his countrymen being in DC. I know it's early and a lot can happen.. but imo if the season goes reasonably well, I think there's at least an 80% chance he'll want to resign here.

I really like the team chemistry right now. They all really look like they want to play with eachother.

Good read.

I really think the Wall&Gortat duo can become something other teams will have to really take into account. It also opens up so many possibilities for John and other guys. Can't wait to see how this team develops further.

I admit to only start watching Wizzards this season because of Marcin (yeah I'm polish) but I'm really starting to like this team.

One thing I would like to see more from Gortat is rebounds. He can have fewer points but he should concentrate on getting boards and on defense overall.

The polish hammer getting hammered by opposing centers lately. Here are how some centers have fared over the the last couple weeks.

Sullinger 22/11
Lopez 22/5
Deandre 15/10
Horford 34/14
Henson 19/17

Opponent PER is 18, which will surely go up after tonight's game against the T'Wolves. It's not a stretch to say Serephin has been playing better than him over the last few games. Hands11 is right, he's not a starting center on a good team--he's a back up. It is interesting, although perhaps a coincidence, that the Suns are playing great without Gortat.

I'm leading the mob, say no to resigning Gortat in 2014! Gor-tata!

Agreed, he's just not worth an extension at this point.

Put it in your sig. It comes in handy

But seriously. Thanks for the node. Appreciated.

Hey, he doesn't suck. He just isn't good enough to be your center anchor without a Nene sized player out there. Booker is the worst type of player to pair him with. He needs a big next to him. Either tall or big strong strong Sully type. Its really not his fault we are playing him with Booker.

He actually looked pretty good with Nene on the floor with him last night.

They would be better off going small with Trevor A as the S4 instead of putting him out there with Booker.

I think people are too hard on him. He has been downright terrible of late but so has basically everyone on our roster at some point. I dont envision him staying this bad, atleast I hope not...lol
