No, he was joking because Spo said everyone should be ready to go. Of course he was referring to Wade/Beasley, who missed the last game.

I'm sure we'll probably go with our usual lineup with Shane at the 4 to start, and no Oden.

MWallace and ESPN says DWade missed shootaround (we knew that) but is a Game Time Decision. He also mentions that everybody is available but final call will be made closer to game time. The only player Spoelstra has definitively ruled out is Greg Oden.

Much about nothing.......

Huh? Basketball or sports don't work like that in a vacuum. From a 7 game series you can't just change the results of the first game and then expect the rest of the series to play out exactly the way it did.

If Miami loses game 1 it is very likely they play rest of the series differently and the result most likely ends up being the same. If you want to console yourself by saying they "were 1 possession away from the Finals" go ahead, but just remember this isn't objective or rational analysis.

I trust Spo's word more than fatboy. Wade wasn't at shoot around, Bosh acknowledged that. Spo said Wade should be ready, so I'm gonna go with that.

I could see Spo downplaying the game some more by sitting Wade and allow him the extra days until Saturday. It is all about the process.
