I promise you that Minny would say no to any trade that doesn't include the Lakers pick. That is the deal breaker.

Trading 4 first round picks sounds insane and too much, but the fact that we would still most likely have a 1st rounder both this year and next makes it not a big deal at all. Yes it is valuable assets, but we are not really even hurt by losing them.

If we could do my proposed trade but keep Green then that would be fantastic.

If you knew you could extend love then yeah I'd deal 4 1sts for him.

Phoenix is a much more desirable place to live than Minny, we would be legit contenders, there will be no chance of him staying a playoff virgin and we can offer him the max. No other team can offer all of the above.

I would take the gamble that he stays. Low risk high reward. Can't see any reason for him leaving.

K Love isn't necessarily an unloyal dude either, he really wants to stay loyal to Minny but they just can'teven reach the playoffs. He would prefer Minny to build a contender around him but it just iisn't happening so he will have to leave.

He wouldn't leave us. I am sure McDonough has a very similar plan as I do. I just hope he doesn't waste it on Hayward.

Because Bledsoe is younger and has way more potential. I don't see Dragic getting much better, but that is fine.

Bledsoe will be a future all star and top 10-15 player in the league. Dragic will not be that.

And if Dragic got a few more million (not sure he would) then we would still be able to afford that roster.

If it is not broke, don't fix it. There are not many Love-like players out there worth cleaning out our cupboards for, and thats what it will take.

He is going to have to ask to leave for us to get a swap shot.... and KLove will be pricey when he does.

I see no prob with letting these guys run as is. Its good for a young team to grow like this.... together.

I think folks should look up the trade the Suns made for Antonio McDyess

Fans were beginning to wonder if the Suns had squandered their future by trading Wesley Person, Tony Dumas and four draft picks for the 23-year-old forward.

McDyess played 81 games for the Suns and was then lured back to Denver. We got screwed royally in that trade.

I can't see any team giving up 3-4 first round picks for Love when he has a year or less before he can opt out of his contract. Way too risky. Love played at UCLA and might want to get back to his college stomping grounds. The Trailblazers (hometown high school) could even make a run at him as Aldridge will be pushing 30 and both he and Love have contracts expiring at the same time.

If we can't get Love this year and have him for a year and half then I wouldn't do any deal for him.

The hometown high school thing means nothing. He grew up in Medford Oregon which is closer to California than it is to Portland.

Plus, couldn't we just offer Love a max extension before free agency hits?

We can offer 5 years and everybody else can only offer 4. I can't find a reason to be concerned that Love would leave us.

He's the 3rd option at best on a playoff team. I think Horny is too easily enamored by his all-around game, the solid shooting and decision making because it reminds him of himself.

But look at what happened to Horny, we traded him for Barkley.

A Plumlee/Love frontline would be better than Aldridge/Lopez.

I was against aquiring Hayward earlier but really followed him closely the past few weeks. He's the #1 option on a terrible team so opposing teams focus on shutting him down. The shooting percentages are down but he can get his own shot and is improving his passing despite being surrounded by scrubs.

He's unselfish and fits the athleticism mold McD talks about. Keep in mind he's 23 so I don't have a problem with them paying big money for guys we'll have thru their prime.

Getting Hayward instantly kills our very good chances of getting Love

You don't have much of a chance of getting Love at all. Especially with some of the offers in this thread.

Yes

Do you have a deal to propose?

Just so you know, the Morris twins are good and are valuable assets and the Lakers pick could give you guys a franchise player.

Why ask him? It's not up to him if they trade us Love or not. He can go shove his opinion.

No, because you don't have enough.

Do you actually think scraps and mostly crumby picks gets you a top 10 player who is 25 years old with over a year left on his deal? Would you guys trade Eric Bledsoe for scraps and crumby picks?

Forgive me for being curious what a fan of a likely Suns trading partner would think. Trading for Love isn't up to us either, should we therefore not talk about it?

The difference is Bledsoe is not going to leave. You guys have a year and a half left of Love. That's it. Why let him walk for nothing? When he leaves, you guys are sent straight to a rebuild, what better way to start that rebuild than with 2 good young players with some upside and 4 or more first round picks, including a likely top 5 pick.

Would have to be 1st overall + Bledsoe to even be a legitimate offer. Scraps + 5th-10th pick + future picks aren't enough.

Thats it? Why can't we resign him? We are only a couple games out of the playoffs only a quarter of the season through. Even if you don't believe they will make the playoffs they would get significantly better packages than the offers in here. They turned down Waiter, Thompson and the number 1 pick in this draft just this past summer. That was after a year where Love was mostly injured on freak hand injuries. Now he has come back playing better than ever and the Wolves are in the playoff discussion. So what incentive do you have for us to trade him?
