As a Suns fan, what are you willing to give up for Kevin Love? ( No Dragic, Bledsoe , Goodwin, or Plumlee)
Music to my **** ears. Seriously. Been fantasizing about Kevin Love on this team for years now. You don't win in this league without rebounding. Could you imagine Love's outlet passes to Dragic or Bledsoe on the break?! Oh mama.
I'll give up anything outside of Dragic and Bledsoe for him. We need people around him if he was to be acquired. Seriously, if the list is "no Dragic, Bledsoe, Goodwin or Plumlee" then, well, I'm fine with giving up whatever the hell is necessary.
I think two players and two picks would get it done.
Not a chance.
A substantive rebuttal. I might have to reconsider my position now.

The difference is Bledsoe is not going to leave. You guys have a year and a half left of Love. That's it. Why let him walk for nothing? When he leaves, you guys are sent straight to a rebuild, what better way to start that rebuild than with 2 good young players with some upside and 4 or more first round picks, including a likely top 5 pick.
Thats it? Why can't we resign him? We are only a couple games out of the playoffs only a quarter of the season through. Even if you don't believe they will make the playoffs they would get significantly better packages than the offers in here. They turned down Waiter, Thompson and the number 1 pick in this draft just this past summer. That was after a year where Love was mostly injured on freak hand injuries. Now he has come back playing better than ever and the Wolves are in the playoff discussion. So what incentive do you have for us to trade him?
Why can't you resign him? Uhh, your chances of making the playoffs once in the next 2 years are less than 50% and Love isn't having any of that. We are already a better team than Minny and our players will get better each year AND we don't even have Love like the Timberwolves do. Imagine how good we would be with him! That's why.
And LOL at Waiters, Thompson, and the 1st pick. I don't blame you guys for rejecting that because that would get you nowhere. Anthony Bennett? Victor Oladipo? Yawn. Waiters and Thompson aren't that great either.
Our package is way better. Morris twins > Thompson by far
That package is waaaay better than what you are offering. Just because you are in the playoff hunt about a quarter of the way through the season doesn't mean you have made it. The Wolves were the 8th seed two years ago before Rubio went down. Look how that turned out.

He's the 3rd option at best on a playoff team. I think Horny is too easily enamored by his all-around game, the solid shooting and decision making because it reminds him of himself.
But look at what happened to Horny, we traded him for Barkley.
A Plumlee/Love frontline would be better than Aldridge/Lopez.
I was against aquiring Hayward earlier but really followed him closely the past few weeks. He's the #1 option on a terrible team so opposing teams focus on shutting him down. The shooting percentages are down but he can get his own shot and is improving his passing despite being surrounded by scrubs.
He's unselfish and fits the athleticism mold McD talks about. Keep in mind he's 23 so I don't have a problem with them paying big money for guys we'll have thru their prime.
I despised Hayward back a little while ago; I thought he was wanted because he was the great white hope, BUT I watched him closely and became a fan of his game. You stated what I believe is the case......he is playing with a horrible team which his hurting his game.
Hayward can shoot and dribble and defend and rebound and he is tough and young. I trust Horny. Bledsoe, Dragic, and Hayward would beast!! I think you guys don't understand how 3 very good players is better than one superstar.

We're all bloggers on RealGM. None of us are GMs obviously but the diehards on here know their respected teams the best. He was just pointing out to you guys that some of the offers being proposed on here are ludicrous for a star player of Love's caliber. The reality is that Love may or may not walk from the Wolves and the Suns have little to offer.

Houston can't afford him, Portland will keep LA, the Lakers are terrible and so are the Knicks.
If he comes here he can win a championship and still get max money. But there are better options? Lol okay then.
I guarantee you that Wolves fans think the Morris twins are worthless, when in fact they are really good. Plus they underestimate the value of 4 or 5 first round picks on a bottom feeding team.

We'll see which teams make more sense in 2015 if he doesn't get traded first, which is more likely.
In which case we would get better offers than the scraps offered by the fans in this thread.
We'll see. The number of teams with rebuilding assets that Love will agree to extend with is likely to be quite limited.

Chicago is another team. He is close friends with Rose and they have real assets to offer. OKC is another one who could offer more in a trade.

Houston can afford him. Portland would take the younger, more talented, and hometown player in Love over LMA easy. He loves LA.
So because the Wolves wouldn't trade Love for the Morris twins, we underrate them?
What bottom feeding teams picks are you offering?

There is a better chance of Love signing with the Suns in 2015 and winning 6 championships than there is of him resigning with the Wolves

The Wolves will be the bottom feeding team. And they can have an extra 4 or 5 picks, including the LAL pick.
No other team can offer a better package for Love considering how terrible you guys will be. What will Deng do for a pitiful team???
And he can win a championship here.
If there was a 99.9999999% chance of Bledsoe leaving in free agency in 2 years and we weren't even playoff bound then I would trade him away for valuable assets in a heartbeat.

1). Houston can easily make room to add one more franchise player to go along with Harden & D12.
2). POR will more than likely WILL keep LMA.
3). Lakers can also sign his buddy (Russell Westbrook).
4). Championship? Not a very strong argument to assume that in an argument to get Love.
5). Worthless? Wouldn't go quite that far, but they're not building blocks you trade a superstar for.
6). Wiggins or Parker would be a great start. There's no guarantee your pick will be high enough to get one of them. Nonetheless, picks are unknown and you don't gamble with those over a player like Love. Odds are extremely high that the Wolves don't get a player of Love's caliber with any of those picks.

How are the Wolves a bottom feeding team? Even if they were trading us our own pick back would we worthless to us since it has significant protection on it and eventually becomes a second round pick.
What does Deng have to do with anything.
Are you drunk?
