Damn, i had to break out the mod tools on this one. So many warnings handed out.

SUNS POSTERS,

RESPECT OTHER TEAMS POSTERS!!!!

Failure to do so will be met with the swift but oh so long arm of the law, which coincidentally is my law!

This is a warning to EVERYBODY!

Image

And i would also like to issue an apology to the Wolves Board Members from the Suns board. This is not how our hospitality usually is, do not let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. I am truly sorry for the lack of respect shown. Measures have been taking to ensure that this disrespect will not continue, and instead we can continue own with a proper discussion of the matter at hand.

Now everyone play nice.

I guarantee you that Wolves fans think the Morris twins are worthless, when in fact they are really good. Plus they underestimate the value of 4 or 5 first round picks on a bottom feeding team.

Houston can afford him. Portland would take the younger, more talented, and hometown player in Love over LMA easy. He loves LA.

So because the Wolves wouldn't trade Love for the Morris twins, we underrate them?

What bottom feeding teams picks are you offering?

How about you show some of these "better offers" you are speaking of.

You mean like the Cavs offer I already posted. That is 1. The Bulls could offer Cats pick, Butler, Mirotic and Gibson. The Thunder could offer Ibaka, Lamb, Adams. So there are three off the top of my head that have been posted by those teams fans.

The Wolves will be the bottom feeding team. And they can have an extra 4 or 5 picks, including the LAL pick.

No other team can offer a better package for Love considering how terrible you guys will be. What will Deng do for a pitiful team???

And he can win a championship here.

If there was a 99.9999999% chance of Bledsoe leaving in free agency in 2 years and we weren't even playoff bound then I would trade him away for valuable assets in a heartbeat.

How are the Wolves a bottom feeding team? Even if they were trading us our own pick back would we worthless to us since it has significant protection on it and eventually becomes a second round pick.

What does Deng have to do with anything.

Are you drunk?

The Wolves will be the definition of a bottom feeding team in 2015 when Kevin Love is not on their roster.

Mattya ... do you realize the Wolves are experiencing the same problem we had with Amare a few years ago? Superstar talent but few teams willing to ship out huge assets when you can have a player in 18 months time. We have traded three players for Charles Barkley back in the 90's (can you name them). We traded two young players and four draft picks for Antonio McDyess and got screwed in return. We've watched the Knicks throw everything at the Nuggets for Melo and see were they sit right now. You can dream about teams with great assets that are going to exchange for Love but history shows the team that gives up the superstar player in their prime generally gets the worst end of the trade. Trade or not with the Suns; it does not bode well for Wolves fans.

You are talking to one of the more pessimistic fans on the Wolves board. I'm far from delusional that Love might leave, but we aren't going to give him up for spare parts.

The same exact sentiment many Suns fans had for Amare. In the end we didn't even get spare parts.

As i stated 4-5 pages back, i believe the only way we could land Love is in a 3-way.

Mattya, what exactly would the Wolves be looking for? Im guessing a SF, a PF, both young with potential, and a few draft picks?

Neither the Wolves or Love will wait as long as the Suns did with Amare.

Exactly. Probably any position. If we are trading Love, unless we get win now pieces, we will likely blow it up. In that case every position outside of point guard is of need.

A 3 way trade could also help the lopsidedness:

$30,000.00 Mercedes E class
$22,000.00 Toyota 4 runner
$15,000.00 Toyota Corolla

Trading the Corolla for the E class won't happen, but trading the Corolla for a 4Runner might make sense if the 4runner owner needs better gas mileage.

Then you ship the 4runner in exchange for the E class because the E class owner can no longer afford maintenance and needs a SUV.

We kind of did this with the Beldsoe trade.

What were the better offers from the Bulls and other teams fans? I think they'd be hard pressed to get you more draft picks in 2014 and 2015 than we could offer. Also do you not think any of the players we have outside Bledsoe, Goodwin, Dragic and Plumlee are good assets? If not why?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Very well. But any GM worth their salt on the receiving end will know that the Lakers, Heat, Knicks, and other big markets teams will be making a run at Love in 18 months. Smaller markets teams can't afford to send everything for what amounts to a one-year rental. The only way it works is 18 months from now the Wolves work a sign and trade for assets. The Lakers and Knicks have no assets to send to you. The Heat don't need Love right now. I think the Wolves are between a rock and hard place and will have to settle or risk losing Love in free agency.

What if we could work a 3-way with Detroit, netting you guys Monroe in the process? Something like:

MIN gets: Monroe/Okafor's $14.5M expiring/Len?/WAS 2014 1st/MIN 2014 1st (your own pick back)
DET gets: MorrisX2/IND 2014 1st
PHX gets Love

That gives you a great young PF/C with potential, a young rookie C with potential that was a top 5 pick, 2 2014 1sts and a very very very large expiring, which you could use to trade for another player(s) or just let expire for caproom in 2014.

Wow! 3 picks, the Morris brothers, and Len?

That's a lot to give up! I may just want to take our chances in free agency.
