Don't kid yourself, Beal never looked this bad...he was missing shots, but at least, he was assertive (all the way back to summer league). We have another Vesely on our hands, IMO.

Bill Simmons and Rose said in a podcast that they could see an "awkward' situation where GR Jr ends up being better than Porter.. I have a feeling that's going to be the case

I'm not saying that I want Porter to be a gunner for gunning's sake; that's not his game. Players can and should be assertive, even while playing an all-around game. Drive and dish. Make a smart defensive play. Grab a rebound you have no business getting.

He did just a grab an offensive rebound and miss a layup. He was assertive at least. Just keep playing him.

True. He grabbed a defensive rebound as well. Of course, I submitted my initial post before he did that. :)

I called that Glenn Rice was the better prospect that Porter was. EG will NEVER do it, but I'd trade Porter before its too late. He looks HORRIBLE out there. He doesn't have an NBA body at all. If the Suns would trade for our pick back, I'd trade Porter for it and filler.

Seriously, JJ looked better when he was with the Wizards than Porter does.

Alright. Mr. Negative. I can't tell after 5 games including summer league that he's Vesely, who at least is athletic. I'm going to give the kid some time and not just jump all over him and call him a bust. He does has a BB IQ. He's just playing tentative right now. The kid was hurt for 2 months.

JJ was MUCH more athletic than Porter is. Seriously, Porter is Maynor-esque in his athleticism. I'm seeing some BIG RED flags out there.

Masai would probably trade Lowry for Porter, but I'd want Amir Johnson.

Would Masai trade Lowry+Amir for Porter+filler?

I know the board will turn this game (like every game) into a referendum on Wall, but our Gortat (3-10, 7 boards) and Ariza (3-10) -- our second- and third-best players -- got outplayed by Jordan (6-6, 10 boards) and Dudley (7-10). Without Nene, we needed to win at least one of not both of those matchups.

LOL I can't pretend like I didn't hate the pick...hope he proves me wrong, but a rail thin 6'9 guy that struggles to dunk the ball on breakaways and has an awkward/unreliable shot, doesn't fill me with confidence.

I called Ves a bust during his rookie year (look it up). Porter certainly deserves the benefit of the doubt, but he looks HORRIBLE out there. Some natural talent should at least show up. Rice may miss shots, but you see legit NBA athleticism and defensive ability with him. Porter doesn't do anything remotely impressive out there.

Well, probably the only saving grace of Porter being a bust is that it would lead to EG getting fired.

We didnt stand a chance today BUT its hilarious what constitutes a foul for the Clipps versus what constitutes one for the Wiz. Just comical.

Way too early to give up on Otto.

But with that being said, I wanted Len.

Assuming he'll be healthy (at some point) I still think that would have been the best move for us.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

How about if TOR/NY have a Lowry/Shumpert deal, we send you Shumpert for Porter?
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I didn't like the Porter pick, but then again I wanted Bennett so...
