I know the Bucks have Giannis (who I also called a MUCH better prospect than Porter), but would they trade Ersan for Porter+Ves?

My fear all along before he was drafted and after, there's something inherently wrong with drafting a guy who isn't great at any particular thing, that was the exact same tag on Jeffries, and innumerable other busts, "Jack of all trades, master of none,". I think he's capable of a lot more than this, but he should have been to the d league if for nothing else than to get in game shape, and get positive feedback, instead he's injured for five months and then thrown into the deep end with paltry minutes so the mistakes are magnified that much more.

I hated the draft pick before it was made and after, and the team is doing nothing to help his cause at all, he should have rehabbed in the D League, then come up.

They might have BEFORE the draft not now.

Well, it does clear longterm salary. They'd probably not do it. JJ showed more promise his rookie year than Porter does. Seriously, he's the most unathletic 6'8 SF in the NBA.

Im very dissapointed in Wiz fans. Porter is a rookie who had a injury that wouldnt allow him to do anything. Chances are a Superstar would look average right now in that position, let alone a rookie trying to find his way. I could see if he was 100% full go and sucking but he's not. I also wont trip about him being assertive. That doesnt mean he's going to be JV. It could easily just mean that he's a rookie coming off a injury so he's either trying to ease his way in or doesnt want to step on toes.

Gortat on struggles: "I don't like the position I play. I'm constantly drifting farther from the basket. I'm gonna talk to Coach"

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Guess that explains why he seems annoyed about shooting open midrange jumpers..

Good find. Sounds like we're desperate for some spacing down low. This will be an interesting situation to follow as the free agency looms closer.

Oh well, at least no hearts were broken tonight! Not sure what the deal with the reffing was, but all those blocking fouls seems suspect? Large spread or something being protected? I dont know, but from my untrained eyes it sure looked like the Clips got every damn call, even when there wasn't one to make, they got it! Anywho, it was fun seeing a couple Wiz games in HD on the freeview..

Hopefully they can do some bionics on Nene and he can play more than he sits, or I doubt they even make the 8.. -4 startin to look alot like -8.. But as always, hope for the best!!

LMAO I "Said" the Clippers were overrated other than Cris Paul. Learn to comprehend a post will you. Wiz look like garbbage tonight on defense and CP picked them apart.

Well, I won't get into a grammar debate, but you're definitely right about Paul. When I first checked into the game, it was only four minutes old and he already had 7 points and 3 assists. I hate his lame windmills flops and occasional whining, but he's pretty phenomenal when he's on.

We already used that amnesty, but I did see Wall eying Gortat's shoes.

Is the coach really making him drift from the basket? In all honesty gortat has looked bad over the last several games. With Beal, Nene, and at times Webster out, Gortat has actually played worse when they've needed him to step up. Pretty disappointed in his play. He got destroyed by Horford.

I think it's pretty simple. Sounds like Wit would rather have Gortat take the 15 footer, than to feature him on the low post, to help open the lane for John.

This.

Wall is getting there, but hes not on CP3's level of "untouchable", not even close. I wish we had an untouchable big man like Griffin too.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Wiz fans are talking about the wrong stuff. It sucks that we got blown out and it sucks that weve lost 4 in a row but the biggest thing by far is that Wall attacked the hoop non stop and shot a great percentage. Im telling you that players dont forget that. We scored literally every time he drove against the Hawks but he hardly ever did. After missing a million shots, you could tell he was focused to get to the rim and he was unstoppable. Wall is not going to stop doing that.

He might mix it up some but he's going to drive for now on until atleast he misses alot or some team totally shuts it down. The great thing is that he did this right before the road trip. We have no chance of winning all these road games if he's just settling. Most likely he would shoot like 38% on the trip and only play like 2 good games from a shooting/scoring standpoint. Now I wouldnt be shocked to see him shoot 50% for the trip and play great in nearly every game. That will give us a chance

I had a similar thought. When penetrating, Wall was unstoppable. But there are other parts of the game that matter.

Not sure what's gotten into Trevor Booker but I wish I could be confident that it won't disappear.

I like Vesely trying to assert himself. It may take another 5 years, but I think he's going to be a quality player at some point.

Some of y'all are off your rockers getting this worked up about Otto Porter at this point. Sure he's been underwhelming, but he's only played 48 minutes of NBA basketball after being sidelined for numerous months. He's a basketball player more than an athlete so it should take him more than a few games to figure it out. I wouldn't be too concerned unless he looks no better after another 5-10 games.

If Porter does turn out in the worst case scenario, is there any way Ernie Grunfeld could continue? Blowing 2 top 6 picks in 3 years would be a considerable distinction.
