Who said we want Deng? I'm talking about Phoenix being interested in DeRozan, I didn't mention Deng anywhere. Were probably keeping him unless someone is willing to give up 2 high picks and some young prospects (even then its questionable because of what hes shown)

they already got a backcourt thats working really well for them in Bledsoe and Dragic...dont see why they would want Demar

Yeah it depends what there looking for. Are they looking for a veteran defensive player who can also provide some offense? Or are they looking for a young offensive player who has room for more growth going forward. DeRozan's contract is also very reasonable at 9.5 million for the next 3 years.

Adding yet another 1st round pick (potentially 3, on top of Nikola a rookie coming on) is overkill, and only makes sense if the Bulls are working on a draft day blockbuster for established talent. We can hope.

Phoenix can probably do the same thing which is consolidate their picks to get a more talented player. But, maybe the Bulls might have more valuable picks than what Phoenix will have.

I don't know. If you're committed to the full rebuild this is the type of move you'd make. You'd probably also move Noah along with these moves. This would be your blank slate.

I'm still an advocate of retaining Deng, amnestying Boozer, signing Mirotic with the MLE and a pg with one of the LLE. But I see a lot of people saying the Bulls should tank and start over. This would be it. Trade with Phoenix for one, maybe two first rounders. Then you enter the draft with four picks and a brand new start.
