yeah I'm not that big of a Taylor fan. It shouldnt be too hard to find someone that can bring more to the game than roaming the baseline for 1 dunk per game and mediocre. still obviously hope the injury isnt as bad as it looked for his sake

I have no idea how to show a tweet on this thing, but anyways Kirk Goldsberry tweeted out that J.R. Smith is shooting 23% from midrange this year, 2nd worst of 149 players with at least 50 attempts. The worst....The Viking.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I knew the second that it happened it was a torn Achilles. Such a shame to lose yet another SF.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

I could have sworn it was an ACL....

That's exactly what I thought it was when I seen it because he went down without contact or twisting anything. He must've rushed back from that heel injury that he had to take advantage of the opportunity and minutes of MKG being out of the lineup. I wish him a speedy recovery and my condolences.

Not to kick him when he's down but that sound about right based on what my eyes told me when watching the games.

Sad for JT, but the honest truth is it shouldn't be hard to find a guy who can replace his production or even better.

Was braced for the worst and the worst is here. We just have to make some kind of trade for a 3-point shooter off a tanking team, like a Courtney Lee, a Steve Novak, Marvin Williams...?

CDR isn't as good as Taylor is. This is a big time injury.

JT has been horrible this season but im pretty sure he would've had at least 8pts vs Utah which would have been very helpful

As am I. He showed off a lot of potential in the offseason. It's a shame the 2014 offseason is only going to be about health for him.

I will miss the Sneaky Swedes pogostick dunks, the way he jumped gap passes for steals, his defense on SGs on the perimeter, and his getting back on fast break defense (his assignment instead of rebounding). His shooting woes hid a lot of good things he did for this team.

MKG needs to learn from this. He needs to make better cuts to find himself better looks around the basket.

The fact that we don't have Taylor doing this anymore is really hurting our offense...

Such Swag:
Wishing a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Hornets forward Jeffery Taylor! Coincidence that he was rocking Hornets apparel in Sweden at the age of seven? We think not.
