Why the hell wouldn't you be complaining about those things you just listed? Jesus christ some people are just happy to have a team it seems….
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

It is becoming tiresome, all this cheering for losses. It is becoming pathetic.

It is pretty bizarre, yeah. Complaints about never getting a good pick, always tread milling, are legit though.

Yeah I agree...but I cannot and will not cheer for the team I love to lose. If it happens organically I can accept it with a grimace. Each time the team wins, I feel joy. Each time the team loses I feel sad. I can't help that...I refuse to help that.

We might be first in the conference if we were in the west, how would we even lose?

I'm betting we win against the Spurs tomorrow. I'm curious how this board will react if that happens.

Cause your all a bunch of Boobs cheering for losses like spoiled little girls. I hope you all pull your eyelids off watching all the sweet wins this year.

Expand your horizons. Think macro instead of micro. Think of 'winning' as getting exciting, LeBron/Chris Paul/Dwight Howard/Tim Duncan/Hakeem Olajuwon/Vince Carter/etc. types of talent playing for US, for YEARS. Think of how many more meaningful games we might win and which we never get to experience because we insist on pursuing a handful meaningless wins each season for all their ephemeral payoff.

Cheer for your team. Cheer for your team to win. Cheer for your team to win big picture. Cheer for your team to win it all.
War does not determine who is right, only who is left.

This is the only place I feel comfortable posting, without losing my mind while reading everyone wanting to "go for it" with this miserable roster, truly a difficult time. Here's hoping Masai lives up to his billings and gets us out of no man's land, asap. Until then, I just don't think I'll be able to watch this team or care for it.

If we could trade Lowry for literally anything, that would be great.

Making the playoffs this season is the equivalent to hooking up with the chubby average drunk girl at a party instead of working on the hottest chick who has been eyeing you all night from afar

Win a few, lose a few, win a few, lose a few, win a few....7-11.

This franchise doesn't do 8-game streaks in either direction.

I have this gut feeling I've seen this before....

People want instant-gratification and the Raptors Board is a microcosm of this idea.

What I see:

Treadmill Nation: "Thrill me RIGHT now, I'll pay for it later."

TankNation: "We'll pay now because we want to be an Elite Team for Years to come."
Image

You just gotta love the Raptors! 8-)

False, making the playoffs this season is the equivalent of hooking up with a cute but average chick who's really cool and fun after not being on a date for 5 years at a party while....

the hottest chick at the club who hasn't looked at you all night because you look like a doofus while there are 8 or 9 Brad Pitts and George Clooneys in the club. You never had a chance and deluded yourself into thinking you did.

So basically you mean Raptors fans are hella impatient and have low standards.

Bang on.

or maybe they just want to watch some fun basketball? Our young guys out there are showing grit and hustling their ass out there playing hard trying to win games. This might be shocking to you but people do like to watch that.

I don't believe for a second that MU believes this core is good enough to win something meaningful with. Making the playoffs with an under .500 isn't meaningful, just sad.

He will make moves.

I'm still going hard for the tank brothers. Even victories against the elite don't shake my core values.

Trade Lowry and Fire Casey!!
