RIP Chris Smith. never saw what he could give us in a knick uniform.
He was an Media distraction anyways and also to JR. Now if we could sign Tyler,
were good. Lets go Knicks! #knickstape.

Nobody wants Amare man, knicks have been trying to trade him for years. Only delusitonal knicks fans would think that any team in the league would want anything to do with broken down Amare and his wonderful contract.

Actually boston made offers but it meant taking on longer deals of Wallace and others.

I wonder if the whole idea was to give Chris Smith a cool 800,000 grand in exchange for keeping (and probably underpaying) J.R Smith. That can be the only reason why the Knicks would keep him this long with no intention of playing him. They could have at least had Josh Powell while Chandler was out. I'm assuming they'll now pick up Jeremy Tyler. That will do nothing for their real hole which is the pg position.

You are wrong sir, JR smith's contract is reasonable. Did u forget that he was Sixth MOY last year?? he should of gotten more than what the knicks gave. But according to reports, he took a pay cut so that Chris smith would be on the team at all costs. Which is why JR was venting on Instagram when Chris got cut.

Kevin Martin who is 30 btw, got more money than JR last off-season.

You must not be a knicks fan, to which I envy you because it sucks.

But jrs contract is right where it should be. Its not over or under. Its like his game. Basketball purgatory, probably wherehis brain is too.

Lamar odom won it in 10 11, he sucked balls the following year too
