Jackson was the difference tonight he was playing lights out and KD had an off Game.

Also it was pretty hilarious when he shoved a guy to the ground and the refs called the foul on belinelli.

Don't know what the heck he was doing in the first half. He tried to force a dumb pass 2 or 3 times when he had at least one foot in the lane and a clear path to the basket. Think he was in his head a bit after all the "I just gotta get my teammates involved" talk since last night's game.

You know you're good when you have 36 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block on 55% shooting and had a bad game

Turnovers are bad, but they aren't that bad.

It would be a good game for damn near every player in the league. It was even a pretty good game for Durant.

It was a good game sure. But here we're talking about a LBJ vs KD race. Just like LeBron's game vs Celtics would be great for anyone else in the league, for LeBron it is just another day at the office. 11 TOs hurt Durant's run for MVP for sure. But 36 points help him, on 12-22, while getting a W over SAS. As long as KD doesn't turn the ball a lot in a ton of games, it's fine. Also LeBron has been having a ton of TOs this season. He's averaging 3.5 I think, and that's too much.

Personally im all for slimreaper. It started on reddit when someone was apparently drunk and called durant the slimreaper in their Portland gamethread. Some okc writers caught wind of thr name and retweeted it out. With social media these days it caught on fire and has already been mentioned on sportscenter

I'm hoping I'm the "who else" you're forgetting, and if not sorry to butt in, but slim reaper works for me too (better than Durantula at least, and kinda cool).

Sorry I forgot you, bbms and a few others. I was too lazy to look back a few pages LOL. I was never a fan of durantula either. But for some weird reason when i said it like "The Durantula" as opposed to just "Durantula" it always seemed kinda cool. I do like the new Slim Reaper too. Not only is it fitting, it's really catching on it seems. I ran into a few people just today in Toronto who even heard of this new nickname.

Does anyone else fully expect LBJ to start playing out of his mind starting tonight?

Nah. The time to do that would've been right after KD's 50+ point game, but he seems content in merely being good. He has actually been very good since recovering from his groin injury 2 1/2 weeks ago, averaging 30/6/6/56% over the last 9 games. It's good, just not KD-good. At 29, LeBron also doesn't have youth on his side anymore. Not that he's old by any means, but I don't think he's capable of going all-out every night like KD's doing right now. Especially not in the regular season. He'd burn himself out/risk injury.

He had 22 shots and 11 FTs. One of them was a Tech. So 27 possessions + 11 turnover, which is worse than a missed shots but whatever, 38 possessions for 36 points. That's awful hahahhaa.

His WS/48 dropped straight down from .329 to .323. But still, it was a win against the best record in the west, in a b2b game to put you .5 games ahead of them. Nice. WB out for 15 games, and Thunder is managing to keep the lead in the West.

The difference now is people are saying KD has surpassed LBJ. The ESPN poll, certain players stating this, etc. They don't want to awaken the beast.
