no but actually telling them its ok to take contested long 2s is indicative a coach who doesn't understand %s given what he has to work with. He's a mediocre offensive coach, there is no way to mask that.

Agreed, but you have to admit that Randy had a pretty good defensive scheme in the first quarter. I am sure that Brooks will make adjustments in the second half.

And I though the offensive movement in the first quarter was good - good 3 pt to long 2 point ratio sans Beal and Wall.

Wall stopped attacking in the second quarter, maybe he was tired or maybe Ibaka is in his head. But when Wall stops attacking - bad things happen.

Randy usually gets above average defensive effort but OKC was just REALLY sloppy for like a quarter and a half. And they're tired. I don't know how much of it is our defensive effort to be honest.

Seems like Gortat's played poorly and let a few balls go off him out of bounds and missed a couple chippies, but he's got easily the best +/- this game. Keep him in longer in the 2nd half.

Every time Wall makes a long 2, he takes that as the green light to take 2 more right away, and he invariably misses them.

Look, more ball watching and standing around. OKC is beginning to hit the shots they were missing earlier. ****.

Beal is struggling on both ends of the court... sefolosha figured out that he can abuse him on the defensive end of the court

Jackson charges more than Larry Hughes.

Saw that coming. Don't know why Nene looks so incredulous; he clearly fouled him.

Ibaka cleared him out w/ a moving screen. I don't think Wall had much of a chance on that one.

Yeah OKC REALLY moves a lot on their screens. Perkins' are pretty obvious (learned from KG?). Ibaka isn't much better.

True, but he has to fight his way over, get the contact and Ibaka would be called for the foul... can't go underneath
