but he's playing fantastic basketball and would be a great back up for Wall. Makes me wonder how our organization scouts Maynor out and pays him, and you see a guy like Patty Mills who been lighting it up internationally for years get overlooked. Poor scouting by the wiz.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wiz ... -deadline/So word is the street is we aren't going to make a deal at the trade deadline.
Washington was interested in Udrih before signing Maynor.
All of this is such a major failure because they so blow the back up PG stop dating back to the season before last when he should have started auditioning Crawford to play there. That lead to an off season of blunders and a summer league of try outs that was a massive failure. It was so bad it wasted summer league for all the other players. Out of that, we got Price and Pargo with Crawford at back up SG with Beal on the floor to start the year with no PG while Wall was injured. Massive failure. And from that we trade Crawford and didn't replace his skills but we did get Barbosa who was injured. Did we later resign him as a back up guard. NO
http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_ ... ro-barbosaThen Okafor goes down just before the season so we go get Gortat and in doing so get Kendall Marshal and Shannon Brown. Both of which we are paying to play else where.
Marshall has quickly played himself into being on of the best young pure PG prospects in the league. High number of assist and he hits the 3 ball.

We sign Maynor instead of even Beno. We miss out on Pierre and Wolters.
And we don't even have a free roster sport to audition anymore.
Forget about all the other EG moves both good and bad. This is beyond a complete failure. They don't have what they need. They have no roster spot open to try anyway and haven't opened one since. They are paying the one of the top young PG prospects in the league to play really well in LA.
I just can't imagine Ted not getting a new GM for next season.
