I said this last game against the Hawks, and the game before when he was getting taken off the dribble by Grevis Vasquez. Beal's defensive focus is extremely inconsistent.

He was on a minute restriction and should go back on one. If you want to play better defense, there's no reason why Temple can't play 10 minutes per game at the 2.

Wall has actually fell back into the defender on every jumper today. Its weird. Its like he has an open shot but he hesitates or fades into the coverage to make it harder.

Then he gives up the Evans 3. You want him to shoot a 3 but you cant just leave him so open that its like shooting a practice shot. Wall shouldve been closer

As I said, Witt will totally forget about Temple. No reason not to get him in to play defense as Webster is pathetic.

Still tied after 3 quarters despite taking an 8pt lead.. ugly, ugly game.

And I agree, Temple shouldn't be glued to the bench. If anything put him in for those end of quarters, he's done a good job defending and hustling in those situations.

True, but if Witt is gonna start DNPing Temple we'll lose some defense

Not saying Miller isn't a good addition, so far it looks like the answer to my question is yes it does.
