Marcus Paige needs to add weight badly but he can be a lotto pick next year.

he's a point. he was a more of a distributor and playmaker in HS, one the better ones in his HS class, but is more of a scorer for UNC because of team need. i'd like to see more consistency in his shot and he's extremely light, but he does have good PnR potential and he's obviously a fearless shooter.

most lefties tend to be very left-handed. outside of strength with the ball (getting knocked off stride) i don't see an issue with his handle.

If he gains 10-15 pounds, and he can, he'll be fine.
reminds of Mike Bibby.

My sleeper for the draft would have to be Deandre Kane from Iowa State. Looks like he can do a bit of everything as a combo guard.

I'm not sure he has a offensive game, apart from putbacks, running the floor (which he's great at), and an explosive finisher in the P'n'R, which has value on offence in of itself.

What are your thoughts on Harrell? I think he can be a beast defensively, despite his height.

Projected mid-late first round all season in most mocks....hardly a sleeper

I like Bogdan Bogdanovic as a possible NBA starter, anybody know if he has a buyout situation?

James Bell. He may not be drafted due to stress fracture concerns, but he is one of the most improved players in the country this year. He can defend or shoot from three and would serve as a nice role player off the bench at the next level. He has improved every season from the three point line, and is now a weapon hitting 40% from beyond the arc. Bell makes big plays, is able to get to the line, and is selfless with the ball in his hands.

DeAndre Kane is similar to Mardy Collins with athleticism minus his defensive strengths imo. He is a big guard with decent vision who will not command the ball in his hands at all times at the next level. Can he be effective off the ball? I do not see it. Both had question marks from the perimeter. Collins was a superior defender and Kane is 25 at this point. He is a late second round pick/undrafted.

still no other opinions on aaron thomas out of FSU?
i think he has an intriguing combination of slashing and 3 point shooting (41% from 3).

good athlete, good handle for a 2, knows how to draw fouls, long arms, plays wide on defense. there's a lot to like there imo.

i like both he and okaro white from FSU as 2nd round prospects

Any thoughts on Johnny O'Bryant from LSU? watched him a few times this year. thought he had good size and pretty good footwork in the post gets good seperation on his looks. Not very athletic but seems like he would have the potential to be a solid position defender in the post. Also a solid mid-range game which seems to be improving. Seems like he could good decent minutes off the bench at the next level. Anybody check him out?

i like Zach's game and see a lot of upside in him for the next level. Even though I think he needs to go back to school to round out his game, bulk up to handle contact at the rim, and be more of a focal point (i selfishly wanna see what he can get done with Kevon Looney) i wouldn't be surprised to see him jump to the league this year just because his game seems more taylored for the league, the spacing and speed should allow him to show his full skillset. Defense worries me though. I wonder how committed he can be on that end. Lots of length and a great athlete but not sure he "wants" to use those tools to his advantage yet outside of playing passing lanes.

he looks like an nba player physically, but he looks kinda dumb. still into his junior year he forces a lot of bad shots, turns the ball over at a very high rate and shows poor awareness on defense. basically every mental aspect of the game he looks sketchy in. i don't know what purpose he'd serve off the bench as a 4th-5th big. inefficient on offense, bad on defense and doesn't do the little things sooo... i'd have him going undrafted.

lavine plays a lot of zone. i think they automatically switch to a 2-3 when the 2nd unit comes in, but he moves his feet very well laterally. the effort is there too. i actually think he's less of a gambler than you're describing.

doesn't stay as active when his head isn't in the game from what i've seen. the passing lanes comment wasn't really geared towards him already being a gambler if that's the way it came off but more towards he has the tools to take more risk and be more active not that its necessarily his fault in the zone because i understand he has a area to be responsible for but he has some tools to be a little more of a playmaker in that 2-3.
