Post all-star, Butler has been a better player, but not $10 million/per better. He's a very good defender on the perimeter, but his overall production just isn't grazing that tier. It would be like paying Tony Allen or Jared Dudley that type of money. He's a player you like to have, but evenwith the cap going up, it makes building a championship team that much tougher. That's one of the challenges, paying your role players like role players.
I still haveh im at $5-6 million. I doubt he'll sign for that amount, but that's the kind of player he looks like.
