Thanks man, many would argue he was the first Stratmaster.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Whatever contract Stephenson gets will be very important in regards to Butler. If Lance doesnt get 10 mil, no way Butler will.

Better give him that extension this offseason for $7-9 million than wait for him to blow up next season and end up being worth $12 million in the open market.

What is funny is that someone noted that it was an april fool's day joke and people STILL kept debating it. That's a good one.

I was about to say take a look at tony allen and that should be the range for butler. Whew. I'm glad Butler hasn't gone insane yet.

I fear it was too realistic in that way. Should have said $12 million.

Damn! It's a joke?!? I had just finished my research and was about to do my write up on how the contract, based upon the minutes Thibs plays Jimmy, would actually have to be at LEAST $10 million in order to conform to the minimum wage laws for the state of Illinois.
Freaky like my lady pyramid...

And I would be one of them. One of the more vocal ones. We had a request for Little Wing Saturday night. I told the guy you don't cover Hendrix unless you can do him justice, and I've yet to see another guitarist do him justice.

Chicago Bulls forward Jimmy Butler wants to sign an extension with the Chicago Bulls after this summer, and is reportedly looking for $10 million a year.

Butler has improved across the board in his third NBA season, being named as the starting shooting guard in training camp.

Via Marc Stein/ESPN

I love me some Jimmy, but damn!

 improved across the board?

His shooting percentage dipped from 46.7% to 39.1%, and his three point shooting dipped from 38.1% to 28.9%.

His per 36 numbers are negligibly different in terms of totals, so his rate of doing the things he does isn't all that different except his efficiency is radically worse.

If this isn't a down year for Butler than he's a 5 million dollar a year player at the most.

EDIT

 you're a bad man playing the tiemzone card.
