Wouldn't mind trading up into the 20s if he's still there. I like him a lot.

It is so critical that the Pelicans pick is #9 and also that Embiid and Parker come out. If this happens there's a good chance the Pistons at #8 select Ennis or Harris which would leave the Sixers with Vonleh or Gordon without ever having to trade up.

A draft in which lands us Wiggins , Vonleh and Lavine in a late round trade would be unreal!

I am still super paranoid that the Pels will somehow jump into the top 3. I just feel it in my bones that the lottery is going to be a horrible day

I like Gordon with the second pick, but 2 minutes to go in a big game, can you have Gordon and Noel on the floor together? FT is a big concern with both...he's a great pick at 12, but not without flaws.

I worry more about Parker and Embiid staying in college but your scenario isn't good either.

Yeah..I probably will become a Jabari Parker hater if he goes back. It will be petty and stupid but dammit I'll do it.

Realistically, the best/worst the Pelicans can do is end up with the 9th worst record. In that scenario we'd have a 93.9% chance of keeping their pick.

I said it was paranoia. I think I'd be paranoid even with a 99% chance lol.

I like James Young for the Sixers second pick. Regardless of who you pick if you get a top three pick, you're going to need scoring. MCW is a very inefficient offensive player right now. Nerlens is not an offensive player either. Wiggins has potential (if that's who you luck into), but looks like the kind of player who will have to work his way into a scorer's role. James Young's standout ability is putting the ball in the basket. He's a guy who will play within the team concept, and not be afraid to make a shot whatever the situation will be. He's a perfect fit in my opinion.

James Young right now is a shooter who doesn't shoot that well, A defender who is off and on with his defense and honestly has gotten by off of HS hype, the Harrison Twins flopping early and the fact that all eyes were on Randle all year.

Dude probably needs another year in college honestly because if he comes out, I suspect he will have a few DNP-CD on his ledger.

Any combination of the big 4 and Lavine....Lavine and MCW brings real quickness and shooting

I think a lot of the negatives surrounding those guys, and Young, is being young and trying to fit all their styles together. They are young and out of sorts. They've all had to take big steps back in order to try and make this thing work. Because of that, I'm willing to give them a bit of a pass.

Its obvious watching Young that he is a gifted player. He needs some time to grow, but with the right situation, he'd fill a lot of needs. Once he gets comfortable, you'll see his shot and game improve.

Do you think he will learn more at Kentucky or working with Brett Brown's staff at taking a few trips to the D-league? I don't know the answer, but Philly would have the long-term investment and developmental resources to likely be the better option.

Hey to me it's quite simple we draft with our two picks wiggins and vonleh , Parker and Gordon or Embidd and the best wing 3 and D available .

I really think Noel at PF would be amazing with Embidd maximizing both of their potential with Wiggins and Vonoeh a close second.

And for those who are enamored with Vonleh, just look forward one year, and there is a draft deep in PFs. Grab your swings this year, and shoot for a guy like Karl Towns next year.

OMG lineup starting lineup:

C-Noel
F-Towns
F-Wiggins
G-Young
G-MCW

That's nuts. Offense and defense. Skill sets that mesh well. Let that lineup stew together for a few years, and you'd have something special.
