Haha. !! That's is an awesome answer. No u sound like us. Many holes, but yet competitive.
Two rumors I have read. Don't hate me for them. Just tell me why would say yes or no. Thanks
First idea was big Nic Pek, JJ barea, and a second rounder for S&t Hawes and S&t deng and Irving and we swap first round picks. U move to like 13 and we move to about 9. I feel this needs a lil more tweaking. And the swapping of picks probably not needed. Thoughts?
Also so a rebuilding trade. Expiring deals of LMAM , JJ, shved, turiaf , also buddinger, #13 this year, and a second rounder or three. For Hawes, deng, and Irving,
Obv rebuilding trade. Almost 20 million and 15 of it one year deals. And gets u in lotto again.
So the question that is needed. How realistic is Hawes and deng staying? And Irving wanting out rumors are huge here since flip (our gm) has been seen with grant ? (I think that's his name. ) over lunch and also cuz love and him are friends. Thoughts?

Are you seriously proposing Pekovic, Barea, and a Goddamn 2nd round pick for Hawes, Deng, Irving and a 1st round pick swap? Your second deal is even better with nothing but garbage and a late lottery pick netting Minnesota Hawes, Deng, and Irving. Grant is not Cleveland's GM anymore, and you can also not include multiple players in a S&T.
How about Cleveland sends out Miles, Varejao, Jack, and a 2017 2nd round pick for Love?

Well at least we're not Detroit!

Wow, that's horrid. I'm not sure I'd make this trade even without Irving in it.

I don't think that the Cavs need an offensively challenged big especially one that a weedhead and off on injury. I definitely don't see giving up a lottery pick for him.

Those are the worst Kyrie Irving trades I've read (and the competition is pretty stiff).
Pek's value is nuetral, JJ's is negative, and you have the Cavs swapping picks for the privilege of gifting you Kyrie.
Why, in a 100 years, would the Cavs do this? Start with the default position being that if the Cavs absolutely had to trade Kyrie, they could always get the highest pick possible in this draft for him. Milwaukee, Orlando, and LAL all need PGs.
The second trade is so bad that if you removed Kyrie, the Cavs wouldn't do it. Without Kyrie, you have the Cavs taking back almost every bad contract on Minny's books for a 13th pick. They wouldn't even do it.
I suspect that if go to Minny's board under the fantasy thread, that is where these rumors originated.

Would you guys trade AV, this year's no. 1, the Miami No. 1 in 2015, and the Memphis No. 1 in 2015 for Horford?

two guaranteed lottery picks, an additional late first, and one of our best bigs?

Isn't Horford injured? Heck, I'm not sure I'd have given up 3 first for him at 100%

I love how every assumes that the Memphis lotto pick will be No. 6. It's just as likely the pick will be protected or as high as 14. AV is past his sell by date. I love him as a player but that's the truth. If we being entirely honest, calling a pick a lotto pick is a sales tactic. We know our lottery pick is No. 9 at best. Show me a player who could become Horford that late from this class?
Edited: Per Fart's request.

Not just three firsts. The No. 9 pick in this draft at best and two protected picks. It matters.

Go look at how that pick is protected, then come back and edit this post.

Also kyrie looked like ass tonight. Disinterested ass heaving 35 footers with the game on the line. I hope this punk is gone this summer.

I never saw him shoot anything even close to a 35 footer. He shot that one pull-up three late in the game but that was like a 27-28 footer. And do you hope his punk ass is gone because you want this team to fall apart and never become a contender until they bottom out again? Believe it or not, teams like to KEEP their 22 year old 2 time All-Star best players.

He has done nothing to convince me he helps this team win games. I doubt the cavs record this season would have been much worse without him. Stop acting like he is a franchise player.

I mean, I can't see how things could get much worse with him gone. We couldn't make the playoffs in the worst conference in history, we have no high pick, and we can't lure any top free agents. We are officially stuck on the treadmill.

He's the best player on the team and there's an awful a lot of factors that could influence this disappointing season besides Kyrie. I remember you saying (as was I) that people were using Mike Brown as a scapegoat for all of the other messed up parts of this team. Well you've made Kyrie your scapegoat.
I didn't say he was a franchise player but he has the best chance of becoming one of anyone on the team and anyone we draft. By a considerable margin.
fart wrote:I mean, I can't see how things could get much worse with him gone. We couldn't make the playoffs in the worst conference in history, we have no high pick, and we can't lure any top free agents. We are officially stuck on the treadmill.
They could get worse by...being worse? The team has had a significantly worse record the past 3 seasons. Giving up a) the best player on the team, b) the best asset on the team, and c) the most promising player on the team, SHOCKINGLY, is a bad idea. Stop being dumb.
It's too soon to say a team is stuck on the treadmill of mediocrity when that team has four top 4 picks that are 22 years old or younger and 2 mid 1st rounders selected within the last two years with a pick around 10th overall coming next. Saying you don't like the chances of the team developing is one thing, but saying everything is already screwed is nonsense.
Oh, and I don't know all the stats for sure, but I can comfortably say that this year's Eastern conference is not the worst conference in history.

Are you having issues understanding what "at best" means? At best the Cavs pick is the number one same with the Memphis pick. It's not likely, but it's possible.

I think the kid's dark sorcery is all used up. He'd probably have to perform a human sacrifice to get the No. 1 pick again.
