Much worse. Not to mention that he's old as dirt, injury prone, doesn't fit our playing style and would cost a fortune. No to Pau!
I am convinced
I have been on the Gasol bandwagon for a while but have seen the light. We really do not need the nonsense he mutters when he doesn't get his way or his physical problems. He will probably criticize Hornacek's coaching style if he struggles. It surely will not be his fault. He has already committed to his national team this summer even though he struggled to stay on the court for the Lakers the past two seasons. I would think his goal should be to get healthy this summer.
We really need someone like Aaron Gordon that can finish in traffic rebound and place defense. I see him as a young Amare, just better. If we get him and he figures out how to make a jump shot he could be real special.
I think that is the type of player we could use most. I hope we can move up in the draft to get that Aaron or someone like him.
I am also a James Young fan and would take him prior to spending the family fortune on Deng.
