Log into Instagram and check Gilbert out (@mragentzero) singlehandedly taking on the entire Chicago Bulls nation in support of "his" Wizards. The comment stream for the photos is hilarious.

Whoever here works for Monumental Sports (Millie?), get word to your boss to pass up to Uncle Ted: it's time to welcome Gilbert back into the fold - perhaps via the Bullets / Wizards alumni association. And (I believe it would mean a lot to Gil and fans in Wizards nation) have him at a playoff game, perhaps Sunday, and introduce him over the PA in between quarters so he can take a bow.

Gil obviously still self'-identifies as a Wizard.

Gil called in to 106.7 today and used the words "We" and "Us" when speaking about the wizards. He also compared John Wall and Bradley beal to himself and Larry Hughes. Glad to see he's still team Wizards. Love that guy.

Time heals all wounds, and it's been long enough. Gil should be embraced by the franchise. A playoff series between Washington and Chicago is the perfect time to make it happend. Since the last time this franchise meant something (late 1970's), Gil was the only meaningful thing that happened for the Bullets/Wizards.

Gil's still my favorite all time player. No slight on Wall cause he's a good player in his own right, but if you swapped out prime arenas with Wall this is a bona fide championship contender. No doubt in my mind. It'd be like Iverson's 76ers on steroids.

I love Gilbert Arenas more than most, but John Wall has an affect on the game and his team that extends far beyond any statistical measure. Take John Wall off this team, and see how many good looks, Ariza, Beal, Gortat and Webster get.

You can't be serious. Did prime Gilbert Arenas not "have an affect on the game"? As history clearly shows, Ariza, Beal, Gortat and Webster would probably have career years playing next to prime Arenas.

I love Gil. Guy gave me soooo many good memories. He should be welcomed back by the organization but I think it's too soon. #0 should be retired.

Give it 3 more years.

For starters, I don't see it happening until he is officially done playing.

And for people that want to see Gil around, I say the farther they go into the playoff, the easier that gets. It will be a LaVar thing. Once LaVar was all done, then they could introduce him to talk about the team.

Its all about Wall and Beal and this being their team. They will not introduce Gil into the picture to muddy that in any way.

I know Gil loverboys want to dream of Gil back on the team, but it just isn't happening. Sorry.

I know you can't stand it but there are a lot of people who still care about Gilbert.

At some point perhaps you'll learn to accept this fact. Sorry.....

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

http://www.csnwashington.com/basketball ... oy-hibbert

I don't really recall Arenas egging another player on during his entire career as a Wizard the way he's done Hibbert. I find it strange and annoying that he would do something like this--- not being a member of the Wizards organization anymore---that could serve as motivation for Hibbert.

I bet the current Wizards' players would appreciate it if he shut up...I know I would.

It's just Gilbert being Gilbert. During the Bulls series he was trolling Bulls fans.

Here he is, trolling Bulls fans about DRose coming back for game three.

Gilbert being a dillweed. Way to kick someone when their down, jerk.

Harmless, maybe, but also classless.

I feel like he's trying to ingratiate himself to the organization and fans; it's a little pathetic.

Kind of reminds me of Cheddar Bob pulling out the gun and shooting himself in 8 Mile.

I don't think it's harmless at all. Rose was done for the year. We still have to deal with Hibbert for at least the next three games.

If losing a playoff series isn't going to motivate hibbert, I don't think Arenas making fun of him will....

Do you REALLY think that a Gilbert trolling him had anything whatsoever with Hibbert's game tonight or any other night?

Really?

Gil always was an idiot when it came to opening his mouth to motivate the opponent. Actually, he is just an idiot period.

He pulled that same stupid crap when he was here.

I really wish he would just go away. He had his time and blow it crapping in Blatche shoes and bringing guns into the locker room.

Like Gil has any room to talk.

Gil has been the best clutch player and best player Wizards had in over a decade.

Just keep bringing the off court references. Gil was the best Wiz player in over a decade. Wall, Beal, Ariza, no one will change that.

The first time Gil hazes the guy trying to cure AIDS, I will be the first to say he's gone too far. As long as Gil is playfully running down our opponent in a game of bouncing a rubber ball (like every other dude in a sports bar), I'm happy to laugh along. But, if he starts chiding brain surgeons while at work, I will muster up the fake outrage.
