It's freaking sad.

We should have left it alone and he'd actually be able to shoot a bit and not have such a complex about it.

We should have been teaching him floaters and runners since day dot, get Steve Smith to teach him variants on how to go baseline and his offensive game would be sound (without a jumper)

I just tried to put a basketball in my hand and bend my arm that way while trying to release it. Its damn near impossible, at least for me it is.

For comparison's sake, I recommend MKG doubters to look at this contrast between him & his similar peers

Image

Pay close attention to the disparity in minutes & FG%, and then consider the age differences (20, 22, 24)

Per 36 (Playoffs)

MKG: 13.5 points & 10.3 rebounds, with a 12.4 PER

Kawhi: 11.4 points & 8.9 rebounds, with a 11.3 PER

Butler: 11.2 points & 4.3 rebounds, with a 12.1 PER

Their main matchups:

MKG - up against Lebron
Kawhi Leonard - up against... Dirk? Ellis? Marion? Carter?
Buter - up against Beal? Ariza?

I seriously can't even get both shoulders to move that direction. It's **** weird. How? I applaud him for being able to draw rim shooting like that. He must have incredible aim.

Kawhi has been getting cooked by Monta Ellis throughout that series

Butler hasn't had a designated player to defend. It's been Wall, Beal, Ariza, & Webster, but he's defended all of them well

SMH @ That shot....I'm just gonna tweet Jordan and tell him that I can fix MKG's shot before next season for 25 racks. And for good measure I'll tell him that I'm 6ft tall which is 3 inches taller than country boi and I can play SG in place of Hendo for the low low, it'll only cost 200 thousand for the season.

If he could avoid fouls and we had a SG who could shoot lights out from 3, I think we'd all have a much much higher opinion of MKG. He's a good player and is hopefully still improving.

#8 and Smith for MKG and #23 or whatever the Portland pick is? Of course the deals off if Smart is still on the board.

Good luck trading Smith. I may burn something if he's traded here.

Thank you for this. I get tired of people attacking MKG when he's just as good as Kawhi and Butler but younger and underutilized by his coached compared to them.

Now if we can just get his shooting form back to half normal like it was at Kentucky instead of this new **** Price got him doing like he playing the violin!

traded it to Charlotte already, and you pick what ever Charlotte wants, you dont get to pick whatever player you want them to have, if it was that way every team that trades for picks would be screwed
