If he was talking in general terms about never getting calls in his career he would be correct. But it has more to do with his style of play than the refs no blowing the whistle for him. JJ avoids any kind of contact like the plague so of course if he avoids contact (let alone attempt to initiate some to force the refs to blow the whistle), he'll get less calls.
His career FTr and FTA/36 are some of the lowest among all volume scorers this past decade.
Edit:
JJ 2014 reg season: FTr of 19.2%
JJ 2014 playoffs: FTr of 27.4%
His FTA/FGA have increased in this series compared to the regular season by 70%!
Last season reg and against Bulls:
JJ 2013 reg season: FTr of 15.3%
JJ 2013 playoffs: Ftr of 8.7%
In fact, this Raps series is his playoff career 2nd highest for FTr and 3rd highest for straight up FTA/g
What's he complaining about?
