i heard Stephen A say Dolan didn't want to move Amare in a trade for Rondo. He said if Dolan was willing to break up the team and move Amare it would of been a done deal. lol

Someone just needs to tweet Danny Ainge on whether he would have taken an Amare for Rondo type deal...and then post the response. My guess that the letters "L", "O", "L", "H", "E", "N" and "O" will probably be used in some combination along with a lot of "!"s.

perhaps he'd consider going to portland or boston if he wants to play with rondo or Aldridge. i'd love boston's lottery pick. portland's got batum who'd fit nicely in the grand scheme of things (don't think lillard would be a realistic option for us) though i don't think he's enough for melo.

No way the Knicks had the assets to acquire those Rondo or Aldridge without giving up at least Timmy, Shump AND draft picks. That's all BSPN has been saying when Rondo's name gets mentioned all the time. I wouldn't be okay with that anyway.
Make the Knicks great again!

If Ainge was japanese and went by the name George Takei this would be his reaction if asked whether SAS was right that he would have traded Rondo for Stoudemire...

Umm Stephen A did not call the Miami big 3 thats a myth....Stephen A for the longest time said Lebron was coming to New York and he guaranteed it for months and months...then he said he was going to Chicago...Than he said be careful of Miami i think they have a chance....that was it...

Hahn was the first to say he was going to MIami without any hesitation without any maybes nothing he said he was going to MIami...

LeBron James has made his decision–he’s moving from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat.
But sports journalist Stephen A. Smith made a pick last week that is also worth mentioning–he predicted that James would go to the Heat. Not only that, Smith forecast that Chris Bosh would also go to Miami and that Dwayne Wade would stay there. All three picks turned out to be right.
On his radio show on June 28, Smith said ““You’re only as good as your sources, as a journalist, and from what I’m being told, after hearing what everybody has to say, LeBron James will agree to team with Dwyane Wade, he’s going to South Beach. LeBron James and Chris Bosh are going to South Beach; they are going to play for the Miami Heat.”

And what could the Knicks have possibly given Portland for their best player - who was not even in his walk year? The components of a legitimate deal don't exist - unless Anthony is part of the deal.

At the time, we had this years 2nd rd pick From OKC, our 2016 1st rd pick and another 2nd rd pick (not sure if it was ours). Also, Aldridge had just missed the playoffs again and was reportedly itching to possibly move. That's all here say. Now if we offered Shump 2016 / 2018 picks and salary to match that expires in 2015, could that deal get done. Remember this is before Aldridge went ape **** this yr

Once I saw the title of this thread, I knew it was based on something SAS said or wrote. He's literally the only person in the entire world who thinks the Knicks had any shot at LMA.
And just like that, the lead has been cut to 8!

Seriously, dude was having the best year of his career this season. Why the hell would Portland want any of our crap for him?

And Stat for Rondo? Rofl maybe Stat, shump, Timmy, and picks for Rondo and ALL there albatross contracts.
