Wiggins at SG and Giannis at SF keeps them in a position they work well in. Trying to fit Parker or Giannis into a SG or PF doesn't play to their strengths.

The other bonus is that with Wiggins height, length and leaping ability, he's going to be putting up double digit rebound games quite a bit IMO.

I'm going to go on record as saying between the two, Parker will be a more prolific rebounder than Wiggins at the next level. Rebounding in the NBA is mostly about establishing position (power and instincts) and being aggressive in the midst of aggressive men.

I am hopeful that there is a superstar or perhaps more in this draft. I want that superstar. Not just an all-star which there may be a few in this draft.

Most superstars are superior athletes and 2 way players. I think Parker may struggle to guard the more athletic SF's for example.

Question to the people wanting Parker with the 2nd pick. Is he a superstar in your eyes?

I think most people agree that Embiid is the #1 player in this draft if his back is healthy. Think Parker has a better chance than probably Wiggins or especially Exum at being a superstar. Don't understand how people even have Exum over Smart. You can teach a guy to defend and cover up natural deficiencies with scheme and personnel, not sure you can teach a guy to be the MAN. Parker is such a skilled offensive player at 19, I can't see anyway he isn't a great scorer in this league. He really has it all offensively.

I think Giannis and Parker's games compliment each other perfectly. A frontline of Giannis/Parker/Sanders is mouthwatering, a PG away from being something really special.

Embiid
Parker
Wiggins

I swapped Parker and Wiggins after reading some of the scouting report stuff on Grantland and SB Nation. The Parker video is cool, but I can go to the gym with a ball and look like Isiah Thomas in a workout, so I try not to give it too much weight. Just glad to see he's in shape.

Looking forward to seeing Wiggins, McDermott and of course Zach DiVine (I just made that up).

The problem with Wiggins is that he has no offensive moves. He can't play in a half court set. Bucks can't score enough anyway. Parker has to be their guy. They should also trade Ersan for the 8th pick and draft Smart. Would like to see them get Big Dog Jr. In the second if he's available.

I'd need more then just the 8th pick for Erz.

Yes they should definitely trade Ersan for the 8th pick. It is just too bad that when the other team says 'no' we can't hit the 'override trade' button.

How quickly we have given up on Henson now that another forward is available. Sounds to me of more deck chair movement rather than fixing the problem. We don't have a guard we want to start for the Bucks. We don't want to draft one or trade for one. I understand not wanting to trade for one because we have done too much of that already. Maybe we should try and get out of the box and try drafting one. Scary stuff.

I don't get why some of you completely ignore defense like it's not especially important, because we have Larry Sanders (1 almost full year of production) and Giannis a 19 year old who had a 110 DRtg.

Do any of you think Parker will become more prolific offensively than Melo? There's a really good reason Melo is a predominant loser and it has nothing to do with his offensive capabilities.

NO.
Do any of you think Parker will become more prolific offensively than Melo?

Melo isn't a predominant loser. This was season was his first losing season ever. He's never lost 40 games in a season before this year. He's been a winner since High School.

If we can get the 8th pick for Ersan and a beer, we all should have a brandy.

Offensively, yep I get that Parker would be the guy. Defensively I just can't get there. I keep thinking Big Dog. A good player, but a guy that defensively just doesn't get it done. Some aspects of defense are hard if not impossible to teach, like quickness, anticipation, instincts.

People also keep comparing him to Melo and sadly that isn't helping either as I am not a Melo fan for the same reasons. Defensively Parker is a tweener and I just don't see the superstar. I see a Big Dog (and I don't mean style, just the all offense no defense player).

From my perspective I want Superman or Batman...not Robin.

He's led his team to the Western Conference Finals. I guess you consider Tracy Mcgrady a "predominant loser" also.

This offseason is simple.

Draft Parker, blow your free agency dollar to sign Hayward. Trade Ilyasova just to free up the court time and give the front court over to Henson, Parker and Sanders. Give some contending team a 2nd in 2017 to take Mayo off our hands.

Start Wolters, Giannis, Hayward, Parker, and Sanders.

Henson, Knight, and Middleton as your main bench.

You're welcome.

Its Anthony's fault that he didn't put a big three together.

McGrady was a bad defender too. Not to mention their second best player was hurt every year. The year they did make the finals he was on a team stacked with Larry Sanders level defenders. Yao, Mutumbo, Hayes, and Wells were all under 100.

I have never heard someone call McGrady a bad defender before.
