i wish the tigers and sox would hit a bump some where. verlander goes and pitches a no-no. its going to be tough catching these 2 teams.

Yeah, agreed. I'm thinking that an Indians collapse is the more likely event to hope for. And don't look now, but Seattle is looking real solid too and has a good lead on us. Plus Oakland should be in there with their pitching. Bottom line is, we gotta milk this hot streak for all its worth.

Looks like we're on a roll now. This is great. Abreu has awoken from his season-long sleep I see. Excellent.

U listen 2 rap NYStateofMind??

ever heard Nas song "State Of Mind?

Haha, yes I do, and I have heard the song. I love Nas, that song is real nice. But the name NYStateofMind derives from the Billy Joel song "New York State of Mind" since I play piano and it ties in with NY, if that's what you were implying. Doesn't hurt to have a sick Nas song pertain to it too, though. It works out all around.

Long Island. My dad grew up in the Bronx around the Yanks so I kind of inherited it. I'm a major minority here since everyone in Long Island is a Mets fan. I have to fight off these Mets fans day in and day out, it's rough.

Long Island and a Yanks fan. I personally only know a handful of Mets fans but I know dozens of Yankee fans in Long Island. So you aren't alone. -Jitpal

Well that's reassuring. Meanwhile, in my school I could point out maybe 10 people that are Yankees fans, and nearly all my friends are Mets fans. In short, I need this forum.
